I was able to get this Tender Terror off of EBay and it just came in the mail yesterday. It was listed for $250.00 BIN and came with the letter and certificate. I did a couple of repaints by just wet sanding and then starting with primer. that took away the edges from the 21st Century painted details.

I too was lucky to get one some years ago, but I took mine out of the box and have been displaying it ever since. I feel that this is one of the best paint schemes for all the 1/18 Mustangs made. Looks like another scale model was photographed for the cover. you can see that another detail is that the main landing gear covers extend over the wheels as they should. The 21st ones didn't. That is one comment I remember hearing from the crowds when the second generation P-51s were released.
