Re: Rarest 1:32 21st Century Toys planes
that was our best selling corsair I just listed one on ebay in case anyone here might be interested. I have only two 32X Corsairs left in my collection, the other is a "Jolly Rogers" which is my fave and I'm hanging on to it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270650327356&ru=http%3...

Re: 1/16 tanks
the thing that interests me most about 1/16, aside from the current variety, is the future possibilities.....At least the popularity of the scale makes stuff like that a possibility...... In 1/18, we'll be lucky to see a KT and Jagdpanther, with virtually no hope of russian, british etc., aside fro...

Re: Your choice for a new model Century Wings 1/72 aircraft.
OSTKETTEN: I voted for an EA-6B Prowler which would be a great follow-on to CW's A-6 Intruder. If I voted "Other", it would be an RA-5C Vigilante. Strictly speculation on my part, but I hope/think HM will eventually release a Vigilante. Other collectors, including me, have been requesting an HM Vig...

Re: Your choice for a new model Century Wings 1/72 aircraft.
SU-25!!! SU-25!!! SU-25!!! Pretty please with cherry on top!:) That would definitely drag me on the dark side! While it's an interesting choice, and I did include an "Other" option, I do have a couple of slight issues with the "Frogfoot' as a choice..... First, it's not a US aircraft, and...

Your choice for a new model Century Wings 1/72 aircraft...??
Interest in collecting 1/72 scale diecast airplanes seems pretty strong among our members here, and growing all the time. The offerings from Hobbymaster and Century Wings seem to be among the nicest and most popular. I think most would agree the models from Century Wings are top notch in most every ...

Re: 1/32 Diecast F-8 Crusader??
A 1/32 diecast F-8 would be really cool nevertheless, although probably on the pricey side. I think a diecast 1/32 F-8 would be a tough sell though, as the Century Wings 1/72 Crusader is a great looking bird, but it wasn't one of their best sellers IIRC. It's a shame too because IMO the Crusader is ...

Re: Wonderful time to be in the hobby.
I got a Century Wings A-6 Outstanding model IMO. I just received a CW "Green Knights" A-6 that I sniped off ebay for $50 delivered, and I'm very pleased with it. Now I've got a CW "Black Knights" F-14 on the way to keep my Truder' company... I hope CW will expand their 1/72 line, these are si...

Very cool, new life for an "old soldier" that's been around since the late 1940's.

Re: Photo of FOV Wespe in box
Considering that outside of kits nobody else makes one of these in 1/72, or at least none that I'm aware of, and a price point of about $15, I don't think these are all that terrible. Anyhow, until somebody produces something better it will have to do.

I can't say for certain Harry, but from the look of his listing he doesn't appear to be a dealer, and his item description says something like "Selling off my collection".hworth18 wrote:.....Curious if this is a dealer or not. If he is a dealer, he is violating HM's minimum pricing rule.

Those are some very good deals AG, and good of you to post the links. None of those versions is of particular interest to me, but this is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to jump on the Hobbymaster bandwagon @ some great prices.

Landwasserschlepper I know the Germans produced an almost endless variety of vehicle types and sub-types, but this thing has to be one of weirdest looking and most obscure that I've ever encountered. They could make a "B" grade movie about this thing.... "At Dawn We Schlepped".... It's certai...

Re: Corgi 1/72 Sepecat Jaguar T2
Here is a nice pic of an actual 41 Squadron Jaguar T-2 of RAF Coltishall, circa 1994. It's worth noting that the Jag was the principle strike aircraft of the RAF for well over 20 years, kind of an interesting footnote considering that the Jaguar was primarily a French design.... http://www.airliners...

Re: Hobby Master F-5N Tiger II
How bout a MIG-28? I guess it be OK for hardcore fans of the Top Gun movie. Some of the F-5 aggressor aircraft out of NAS Fallon and Nellis AFB had Soviet style red stars painted on the vertical stab, but to the best of my knowledge none were ever painted black. The closest thing in real life...

Re: russian equivelant of navy seals?
As far as I know the Russian Navy doesn't have a "special forces" group of the same type that the US Navy has in the SEALS. In the Russian Navy the "elite" force is the Naval Infantry. The Russian Naval Infantry played an important role in WWII and participated in quite a few major battles, but it i...

Re: Hobby Master F-5N Tiger II
Great that HM is doing the F-5 I agree. The F-5 was the principle aggressor squadron aircraft for both the US Navy and Air Force for many years. Fast and very agile, the F-5 closely matched the performance of many Soviet bloc aircraft, which made the F-5 ideal for the aggressor role. Dubbed the "Fr...

Agreed. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the schemes HM offers for the Thud. I have the natural metal finish "Operation Look Alike" version, and I like it a lot.Hobby Master captures the massive size of the F-105 well, and you would really like this model.

Corgi 1/72 Sepecat Jaguar T2
Picked up this 1/72 Corgi Jaguar on ebay for $38 including delivery, I thought it was a pretty good deal considering this version is sold out most places that I know of, and typically retails for about $50 plus shipping. I've always liked the sleek lines of the Jag, especially the two seater, and I'...
