I also heard that after Christmas Walmart was gonna knock 40% GI Joe as well. I remember a couple Christmases back they did the 2.50 thing on Star Wars, at least locally. Coming back to IJ, even if they clearanced them out at a buck there wouldn't be anything worth buying, just the same Crystal Skul...

I don't see the problem. It's not like the big guys are doing anything worth talking about anyway, and if they were they wouldn't be as interesting.

I didn't know the jeep even existed.

Which leads me to believe that it never actually reached retail.

Because they can.

The golden guns are actually featured in the game, so they at least make sense on paper as chase figures.

As much as the SPs? Not very likely.

A chase figure is a figure that slightly (or alot) different than it's counter part. It's made in limited numbers and randomly inserted into cases.

For example, these gold gun COD figures.

True, that.

Great work, tman. It's always refreshing to see a vehicle custom without the slavish devotion to blue, red or black.

There's an entire DAK series clogging pegs in lots of places to crew it with.

One even comes with a EM 1M R36 range-finder.

I was gonna get it for use with some of my old Joe figures, but i just can't justify it now.

Nah, it came with versions 9, 10, 11 of Roadblock in the GI Joe line and version 7 of Heavy Duty from the same. I believe it also came with a Clone Trooper, but it may have been modified with a different barrel assembly.

The World Peacekeeper version comes with miniguns. You could also modify Hasbro's minigun or get a Marauder ones.

I'd go with Hasbro's, even though they are on the small side, as i think Marauder's barrel assembly looks terrible.

Can't turn your nose up at that, especially at that price, regardless of damage.
