TSSD's teaser: http://www.sdsoldiers.com/coming_attractions.htm

Interesting to note that the playsets (never cheap) will include helicopters...I hope they're to scale, in any case, it all sounds very promising for the toy soldier collector...

How new and exciting it was back then...

Used to post as currahee back at the turn of the century. parrish333, that is so true what you say about creating a new category...before that, I had models too fragile to do more than look at & I also collected plastic soldiers & other military toys, and there was not much middle ground between the...

Probably too much to hope for that we'll be gettting pilots with it---much less crew (I wish JSI would at least offer them separately)....but give much credit to JSI for not just doing a repaint, this is a very nice upgrade at a reasonable price...

About 32 items down...I don't think it's unpainted, it looks like the whole model was spray-painted. If so, it was a gross error in judgement... :D

There's a couple of other peculiarities on his site, look under the tank and vehicle listings: > 1/32 Marines (with, strangely, "german infantry" printed on the backing to the blister pack)...never knew they existed, this is WTF of the week for me :) ... > British paras painted well (I recently pick...

A wound that will not heal...

Right before the near simultaneous collapse of 21CT and Admiral (and the dormancy of BBI aircraft), I mentioned on this board (or the old one?) that the top 3 places on my 1/18 a/c wish list were occupied by a Phantom, a Skyraider, and a Dauntless...it was an unreal rush for me when it was announced...

Resolution of the matter...

LOL! I saw this first on my low-res turn of the century monitor. Now that I zoomed in with my computer from this decade, maybe I have to apologize to HK Models for that slight! Still would like to see some of the stuff he has lurking in the background... See also http://www.ebay.com/itm/WW2-USAAF-A-...

What shipping lane do they navigate...?

Personally, I think it's a great deal for the price, even with $35 shipping... now the next factor in the equation: has anyone ordered from this dealer? If you have a little extra cash and quick reaction time, the soon-to-be departed Bad Cat Aviation has lowered most of it's clearance prices again, but I'd be quick (somebody feasting on the bones apparently nabbed a Merit 1/18 Dauntless that was previously languishing at a ho-hum price). Not much le...
