You have been on a bit of a buying spree of late, but all good purchases. 8) Hey Snake , you know if you don't get them now you will never get them, and they are not getting any cheaper. Re: Finally got an Arrow!
Nice addition Aferg, and almost a must have for any Canadian collector. I picked up the day glo orange one myself, which was the first release, back when they were first available. Like the looks better than the all white, and went through the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum to purchase online. Fi...

Must say that it is looking pretty darn good.
Nice level of detail, and think it is most promising.

That is a pretty awesome model.
JJ stuff is very nice, but don't have any myself. Looks like they are worth the price, but not for the "average" collector.

Went for $10,600.
So Metfish must be somewhat happy. A nice chunk of cash, plus he will have two rooms in his house back.

And so he should have been. Good riddance.
Glad that he was held accountable for his comments, which I am sure were an embarressment to the USAF.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out, idiot.

Wow ! Just getting caught up on this thread, and took me a long time to get through it. Great work CplSlade, and your modelling skills are very good, and improving all the time. Can't believe you were blowing through those kits as fast as you did, but still making them look great. Lots of nice armou...

Jack: I truly hate to sell it honestly, but I am in desperate need of a few hundred dollars right now for a very important need. I didn't want to involve people with my life issues here so I just said I was making room. I didnt want to say "have a life need...need to sell models" Unfortunately the ...

Re: Entire 1/18 aicraft collection on Ebay
Haven't done the math, but seems somewhat reasonable, given what you are getting. Especially as you don't have to pay for USPS shipping. Can you imagine what almost 100 1/18 models would cost to ship. Going to be a tough sell to do in one lot, but the U Haul shipping makes it quite attractiv...

Ghastly looking X plane, and an embarrassment for Boeing, I would think.
For a cheap, and unusual model, it doesn't look too bad though.
Those interested in X planes might be keen on this one.

Excellent weathered and damaged Avenger, Jnewboy. A great buy for the price.
And the cockpit detail is quite amazing.
The seller put a lot of time and effort into this model, and you reaped the benefits.

Very good and informative post, Tman. Pretty much agree with all of your points, but everyone has their own opinion. In regards to the Avenger. I love both of mine, and to solve the wing sag, I use part of a toothpick wedged in the gap on the underside of the wing. A little trial and error, and pres...

That is quite a story, Tman.
To actually email, and berate one of their long term customers, is totally unacceptable, and sounds like desperation.
Again, sad to see them go from one of the best online retailers, to hearing about acts like this.

Looks good cnq
Monogram aren't bad, but certainly not up to Tamiya or Hasegawa in quality, or price for that matter.
Looks better than the Corgi diecast version, but it is a plastic kit, and not diecast model, so it should be.
