Re: Forces of Valor 2014???
Revell has a 1/32 sherman with rockets and its a round body also. if you want to have welded plate body switch the turret with their other 1/32 sherman kit. one of the revell sherman kits comes with the early style small mantlet of the turret.

Re: CUSTOM 1/32 PANTHER A
the casting process is messy and theres a lot of waste. material and time. part of that is my inexperience. theres a guy on here tho that is on the 1/18 forum his name is "pickelhaube" he seems to have stuff together when it comes to casting. he makes 1/18 king tigers and sells them. their really co...

Re: CUSTOM 1/32 PANTHER A
i seen that jagdpanzer 4 and his other items. i sent him a message inviting him to join our forum a couple days ago. i hope he dose. I agree that fov is disappointing slow, but ill need them for bases to build upon. especially tracks i don't know how i would ever make tracks other then recasting one...

Re: CUSTOM 1/32 PANTHER A
you should do a maus. it being all square angles almost would be an easy first project. wheels are all hidden so they don't have to be exact. i don't know how you would make the tracks tho. i don't think i would ever get to making a maus as my interest lie in vehicles that were used quite a bit in c...

Re: CUSTOM 1/32 PANTHER A
I planed on both styles of t-34/ 76 turrets and a KV-2. i was always worried i would then FOV would come out with the same and be in competition with them. their sales seem to be barely moving as it is. i don't want to be the one that kills them. how about a full js-2 in 1/32 how awesome would that ...

Re: Forces of Valor maybe pricing themselves out of the mark
is all there is in 1/32. i love their stuff and i will still be buying. i know how you guys feel tho. and i also wish they would make their 1/72 in 1/32, i think what happened there was 1/72 was a test to see how well a subject would sell. i think a bad test because they have competition in 1/72 and...

Re: Turret Track Hooks
yeah i understand i wouldn't want to glue the links ether. you can try this: ticky-tacky. i use it all the time for dry fitting customs, and models, or sticking things on i don't want permanent. i shouldn't take much for those tracks so it should be easy to hide. if i dosn't all come off when you wa...

Re: German Armor repair
well i guess gas would be used more in the field because not depending on a electrical source. i would imagine they would use ark in the factory's because it makes a deeper weld for the thick armor they used and im sure they had the technology to do ark welding so why wouldn't they. im guessing tho....

Re: Turret Track Hooks
why is gluing them out of the option? i wouldn't think there would be another option for the 21c as its plastic. as for the FOV the turret is metal so if you make the hooks from metal you may be able to solder them on and it would be a strong bond. all depending if the metal you use to make the hook...

Re: What clear coat to use?
it would be a good thing to know and start a list of witch clear coats do yellow over time? dose anyone use vallejo? testors? do ether of them yellow? another question is: is it really the clear coat or is it environment (smoking around the kits) or the decals them selves? when i was running a sound...
