WWII WEEKEND IN READING PA - LOOKS VERY INTERESTING

I was searching for information on warbirds and came across this site. It is the information page for Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's World War II Weekend. They are planning flights, static displays, re-enactments, guest speakers, and even a hanger party. It's not that far for me to travel, so I will most...

MikeG, I know that the lighter shades will make the room brighter and seem more open, but I just painted my office/toy room today in a OD Green shade. I should have enough light to pull it off, or at least I hope so. All I have is 1/18 planes and I wanted to see the hanging on the wall with that kin...

I know that this is not really to do with my collection, but here is a link to what could finish off your toy room.

Yes, it is. The planes were in by son's room at the time. He was eight and won it at the county fair so I had to put it up for him. He was more excited about winning something - other than who it was.

I have photos of my older planes, but I have been working to get more room for my stuff and haven't displayed or photographed the newer ones. Maybe some time this spring I will have my work completed so I can resume playing. The last two pictures show what one can do when they run out of room for th...

DELAWARE ARTIST'S SONG REFERENCE DOVER AFB - WORTH A LISTEN

I heard this song on a local radio station. If you are familiar with Dover Air Force Base, you know that it is where all military KIA come into on the east coast. The C-5 Galaxie that they come in on are just huge. Anyway, I think the song is worth listening to. See what you think. It only takes a c...

Watch for TRU Restocking Items!!!

I spoke with a department manager at the local TRU this past weekend and he told me that January is when the TRU warehouse does inventory and this is why the stores are slow in getting items on the shelves at the first of the year. I didn't think to ask if this was SOP for all areas or just my area,...

Digger, your point is a good one. I guess if the others who posted are like me, the 262 just didn't strike our fancy to make us buy it right away. The sale increased our interest. But I can add that I have preoders in for the Camo Zero and the Dauntless and can't wait to do the same for the F-4 and ...

Thank you for the welcome. This is how I came to know about the BBI RAAF items. I was searching Ebay for 1/18 P-51's well over a year ago and at the bottom of the search was the listing for all of the "Ebay Store Sellers". This beauty was pictured with with a listing so I looked at the sellers items...

New Member With Pics of My Newest Addition BBI RAAF P-51

Hello to all. From the looking around that I have done, I have seen some very nice collections. Most of my collection is still packed away due to remodeling work around the homestead. But, once my new office is complete then I will get to release them from storage and get some new pictures for posti...

Mike,

I haven't taken the time to read all of the pages of this post, so I hope that I am not asking a question that has been answered previously. Has there ever been any talk about doing a group buy from the site members for an exclusive paint scheme on a 1/18 plane?

I will need to get the billing statement before my wife for my newest purchase - the BBI 1/18 RAAF P-51 Camo. Finally found one and couldn't pass it up. I will have to post picks when I get it in a couple of weeks.
