The tmanthegreat method has a far higher comedy factor, and if you look closely at his picture, the screw covers have in fact come off in one piece - they're just to the right of the main explosion, and about to go into orbit....

I've researched this as far as I can, and unless somebody else can come up with a positive I.D. for a tank unit that I've missed finding, I think the emblem has been made up. NHoggard12 - I'm not sure 17th SS Panzergrenadier division had a two battalion panzer regiment in its organisation - I think they had a stug abteilung for their armoured element.
Might be wrong, but that's what my references say.

What's the symbol? it isn't very clear in the picture.
If it's a bear in a shield, that would be 3rd Panzer division.
The turret numbers make it 9th vehicle 2nd platoon 4th company 2nd battalion.
