I'd appreciate any opinions or facts on scale, detail etc. on the M1. I know a lot of you guys are experts and I'd like to thank you in advance for any info.

Exactamundo. I haven't sprung for a Patton yet, but had to have a Bulldog, having put one together from an old Renwal kit from the 60's or 70's. I'm not sure about the spelling on Renwal but they had some excellent kits, lots of moving parts etc.

I just got my 88 10 minutes ago(thanks Fed-ex man), Really nice. Now I wish I would have bought another. If 21st goes out of business(I sure the hell hope not), their last 1:18 scale item was certainly a masterpiece.

I just ordered one. $44 shipped. I t was only 9.00 shipping Fed-ex, which seems reasonable to me for a large item that you're getting at an excellent price. I feel sorry for you over seas collectors. Don't know where I'll find the space to set it up but I had to have it even though I just lost my job.

Thanks for the replies Ostketten and Col. Pickle. I decided to buy some of the Conte Romans and the K&C Romane Gate section and some K&C Barbarians(I lthink they look better than Contes' Barbarians). Hopefully I'm not being fooled by the Pics, that I"ve seen on the etailers sites.

Opinions on Conte figures?

I was hoping some of you had some opinions on Conte painted figures. They're having a 2 for 1 sale right now. I'm interested in their Romans as they look much more correct than the King and Country offerings(the legionaries have the correct handles on shields instead of the incorrect straps on the b...

I finally accepted it when I realized it still looks good even if it isn't perfect. I screwed with tat damn cockp...
