I think it's some sort of amalgam of French Colonial Carribean Spanish Pidgeon English from the future.

Ok, I vote for a p-38 too. :) Actually I was thinking that the mods here could start a poll, name 5 twin engine aircraft we want made in 1:32, let us vote on them, then do another group of aircraft and so on and such, then do a run off of the favorites. They could do this with fighters (ones that ha...

It would be nice to have all the bells and wistles. BUT. Do you guys have any idea what it would take to just get retract gear out of resin ? First the gear would have to be strenghted with a tube or rod . Then the tube or rod would need a pin to swivle then the swivle socket would have to be reinf...

Dang, when I saw the title of the thread I thought it was a poll to vote on your favorite twin engine. :?

I wouldn't mind paying the asking price. I believe if you are going to get one get the best one available.
So I would want the one that is the most detailed. Just how much detail or features I'd still like to know. Or are these things still to be worked out?

Twin engine planes...yes, but I think the more engines the better. Heavy bombers would fit nicely in the 1/18 scale size boxes...now that would be cool. 8) You're right. I've mentioned it elsewhere here, but thought perhaps I was dreaming a little too big. That would totally awesome! A four engine ...

I am seriously thinking about selling off a few things on eBay just to get the Hurricane. I have a few extra 1:18 planes, not to mention a huge collection of GI Joe and Star Wars, musical instruments and devices. As I am getting older my tastes in "toys" is changing more towards authentic military ...

This is one reason I have been buying up all the 32x stuff I can because it may not be around this time next year. Me too! At least the ones I don't have. Not much hope for getting anything 1:18 unless at a high price. I started pretty early collecting 21st though, ever since the TRU exclusiv...

That's good to know they are regular editions. Though on the other hand since they are not exclusives, the price at Target is more than Walmart's, but it's lower than TRU. I finally found these at Target today (the planes). I think they were returns. I'm just happy to have them though. I like the Mu...

You guys are talking mostly armor here. Yeah I would like to see a Walker Bulldog, Duece and a Half, Mutt, even a Gunboat.

How about some 1/32 Hueys, Cobras, Chinooks, even a Skycrane carrying a Howitzer?
Puff the Magic Dragon C-47?
I'm dreaming again.

I'm with a couple of guys here. I want to see twin engine planes more than anything.

Though any warbird that's not a re-paint is fine with me. The more the better.

A lot of large planes, jets, and helicopters I think are possible in this scale.

I wouldn't mind getting one of these. Would look good next to the 1:32 21st Me-109E Wasp squadron I already have. It's been a while since I've built a model, but I used to be fairly good at it. Wonder what the price will be for this kit? It's 1:32 and it's a twin engine fighter-bomber. I wish we cou...

I agree we probably won't see them at mass retail. I don't really care that much. I'm just so happy that we are able to get this stuff at all. I see big things possible with BBI. With the release of a large aircraft like the F4 Phantom in 1:32, I think the possibilities of them going into WWII bombe...

Most everything I have is 1:18, and have collected this scale for years. Whether it's Gi Joe, Star Wars, Ultimate Soldier or BBI. I can't change now and expect to even come close to the amount of toys in this scale. I have strayed into the 1:32 arena because it's the next prolific for aircraft and a...

As they accumulate here in the states, I have already seen lower prices on ebay with reasonable shipping cost. I thought I saw one for $36 "Buy it now" the other day. Still it would be nice if TRU or Target started carrying these. Though they might be thinking that 1:32 military doesn't move because...

Re: Huh?

With all due respect, you expect the online retailers will fly out to the Orient where this item is being made to hire a factory, oversee production, schedule shipments, etc? And, you expect all the online retailers, some of whom dont sell much in the way of 1:18 scale products, to put up that much...

I think that really the only hope at this time for the 1:18 hobby is the online retailers. But there is still hope when there are companies like BBI that are putting out new molds, and are willing to take the risk, because they know there is a hot market out there for a quality product. Why can't th...

I like what they do, and the Hurricane is a much needed and overlooked warbird, but I wish a company like that could strike a balance between custom planes and mass market. I paid a pretty penny for some of my stuff, but they are way out of my league.

Great review, nice pics. I do however notice at least one thing that looks odd. The engine lid looks as though it was painted separately from the fuselage, which it probably was. Hence the color difference. I like the fact that the engine blow-by soot is around the edge of the lid, this gives it sor...
