The Bald Eagle is kind of a shelf-warmer, and there are plenty around on ebay. The 1:32 Shangri La on the other hand is very scarce. There are none on available on any web stores, and you rarely see them on ebay either. Definitely worth buying. I have one. I have only seen it on the shelf once, and ...

More single engine planes I'd like to see in 1:32 plastic: TBD Devastator Helldiver Rufus Zero Floatplane Hawker Hurricane Hawker Typhoon P-39 Airicobra P-40E Mig-3 Yak-9 Stuka JU-87G Tank Buster Some of these planes are obscure, but 21st did a bunch of Macchi 202 Folgores, so that's about as obscur...

Yeah, some of those kits are way expensive. There's one (I forget who) of a 1:32 Avenger, close to 300 parts, highly detailed, even metal flaps and rudders. Some of the jets, whoah, are priced as high as a 1:18 BBI jet when you could get them new. However you can get a twin engine Bristol Beaufighte...

I was really looking forward to a 1:18 B-25 from 21st, but I thought when I heard about it "yeah right" I do think that given the way things are going in the 1:18 market, 21st could at least do twin engine bombers in 1:32. I think they would sell very well. Think of it: B-25 HE-111 BF-110 JU-88 C-4...

I love 1:18, I have a lot of it in aircraft and armor. I will continue to buy whatever gets out there, but I do like the 1:32 scale, and have almost as much. I think if the 1:18 market fades away, I'll still keep what I have, but continue to buy 1:32. I see this scale continuing on for quite a while...

Yeah, I would like to see another paint scheme on this, but it is the first "G" model with desert markings. Sure would like to see BBI do a G6 of Hartmann's Black Tulip. There are some good versions of the G2 though. I think Hartmann flew one with a yellow nose and tail, though that might have been ...

Found the 1:32 Marder at Walmart for $4.50, and a 1:32 Playset (the one with the desert Stuart in it) for $5 on clearance.

That particular Walmart is not going to be carrying any more 21st at all, the toy stocker said. :(

I'll keep those guys in mind next time. Wish I could find a site with more older releases. If you thin...

You can get this at Michigan Toy Soldier for $50. If you sign up for the newsletter you can take another 10 percent off anytime you make a purchase, not just labor day. That brings the price down to $45 and shipping is only 8 bucks. I've purchased from Badcat before because they tend to have a good...

I found the DAK two packs at Walmart for $5 on clearance, so I got two of those.
The whole set of Platoon for $2 a piece.

There are an overwhelming amount of the Vietnam figures that aren't moving at all. Maybe it's because all their faces are pink.

100 bucks Popeye? I've been watching the Hueys on ebay and they are going from 200 to 300 bucks. Even loose ones are overpriced.

I only have the Air America one, so it's a bummer I can't get a Vietnam one for a reasonable price.

Somebody needs to put these out again, somehow.

Yeah I ordered one with that special Zero that's coming out. I don't know about the kill flags having to be on the right side too, or if BCA sends extra ones. I was under the impression that a lot of pilots only put them on the left side anyways. Guess I'll find out when I get mine. I'm so happy to ...

Was thinking about the WWII Pacific Theater single engine Navy planes we don't have in 1:32 yet that have been made in 1:18:

TBF Avenger
F6F Hellcat

Also lots of Japanese single engine planes, but the two I would most want are:

Kate Torpedo Bomber
Val Dive Bomber

I've got all of the six different Zeros.

Can't wait for the BBI Wildcat. The Zero needs another Fighter adversary besides a Corsair, and no Taylor and Welch P-40's in 1:32.

I just pre-ordered the Vraciu Hellcat from Bad Cat. I guess they ran out like other stores.
I wonder if BBI had to make more to meet demand?

I like it better than the shark mouth F6F.

I'll bet you had to pay a pretty penny for that Cripes A' Mighty if you bought it recently.

Paint

The paint issue kinda bugged me when I first saw Tman's pics. I guess I'm overly picky when it comes to those little things, and I was hesitating on buying one for that reason only. However boxed photos have been showing up on ebay and most recently at Smalljoes, showing the exaust on the fuselage a...

Nope, me mum was an Aussie, my dad was American, so that's Scot, English, Mohawk, whatever got into the stewpot way back.

I do have a Puerto Rican sister in law that talks funny like that.

I gather you are picklehaube being from New Orleans?
