Re: 1/18 Pershing tank found (sort of)

I just went and bought one as shipping for me is cheap here in Aus. I have always wanted a Pershing, 1/19 will do. I don't have the room for it at the moment so it will live under my bed, all my other stuff is on display - I hate leaving models in boxes!!! Its good my wife loves them too as they are...

Re: custom painted,or original paint?

I started off collecting factory models but of late I have been collecting Jnewboys customs. As you can tell I have fallen for them and are only going to be collecting customs from now on. With each custom you get something uniquely painted.

Re: PTE Recons

I didn't realise that it was for Power Team Elite, for some reason I had it in my head it was for 1/18 sightings - I am new to all this, sorry once again.

At Crusader Trading here in Canberra Australia they have a BBI desert ME109 and a Konoika green Zero in 1/18 scale. On display in 1/18 they have a Michaelski 190, first issue Big Beautiful Doll and the Australian P51. They are also selling some 1/32 XD.

I may have to fly to the US, collect the whole thing and buy 3 seats for the return journey - and nurse it on my knee!!!!

I could just see Jnewboy doing a captured one of these, although I don't know if the Germans ever had one. But still it would be good.

Re: New Member

Jon you are right. Even though there is virtually nothing 1/18 here in Aus I am still very happy I got into collecting it. And no doubt other collectors from around the world have a much more difficult time than me in buying 1/18 (big cost converting to theUSD) and then having their models sent to t...

Re: New Member

Yes mate the Australian postal size limitations are a real problem for 1/18 models already assembled. However you did an unbelievable job packing the ME262(complete), P38, IJ car and Tiger and various bits and pieces into the restrictively sized box for its long journey here. Obviously your great sk...

The IJ car that Jon customised for me turned out fantastic. The stand and the MG on top look very realistic.

Re: New Member

Hi Chris The shipping costs to send to Australia are very high as we are far from everywhere here. Whenever I buy a model I have to add on considerably more for postage to get it here. I like sellers like Jnewboy who only charge what it costs them to send the model to me. Buying models here is too e...

Men thanks for the warm welcome. Pickel was one of those to welcome me here - thanks mate. I mention him as I intend to get a Wirblewind from Jnewboy (Jon) in the future that uses the fantastic turret and cannons he makes. I was one of those that Jon promised he would produce for before he became ju...

Hi All I have just joined this forum to converse with fellow 1/18 collectors. There are many great model makers here and I am blown away by the quality of their work and historical knowledge. I have only been collecting 1/18 for 2 years but have admired it for much longer. I have a reasonable number...
