It does seem that there is an Su34 on Ebay right now. This is the twin seat, side by side version. It has a starting bid of well over $200US.Chinese Su27 for about $50US. No Russian Su27,or Su33 listed. Looking at a couple of other sites,it seems that the Su34 was a limited run,and hard to come by now...

Gaincorp 1:72 Su27,Su33,Su34

I have seen some comments that these are going for some fairly substantial prices on Ebay lately. I got mine about 3 years ago.I have one Su 27,and two Su33's. The quality is not bad,and at the time Gaincorp made the best quality Su27 around. Does anyone have any idea of what they are going for thes...

I have one of these too.Battle of Britain camo. Decent detail, good size, and pretty heavy. I have a coupe of Corgi 1:72 He111's,including one with a V1 flying bomb.Very nice. The FM series in this size is not bad.I also have a B-26 Marauder in this scale. If you are a fan of a particular plane, and FM...

Well everyone has their own opinion here. I understand both sides of the argument.,As I have more than a dozen 1;32 by both BBI and 21C,I have reference to both brands. My main point is that people are not willing to pay more than "bargain basement"prices, for a model that no one else is producing. I...

Fair enough.I understand that. But these three models are all BBI,which make a superior product to 21C,IMO. Also, these are planes that have not been released in 1:32,as far as I know.I would have thought that all three of these planes would have been big sellers, particularly the F-4. No wonder the m...

Who gets sticker shock paying $60 for a very nice 1:32 F-4 Jolly Rogers?
Or the Wildcat,or Dauntless for about $40?
If people are not going to crack open their wallets even at these prices, then I fear that the manufacturers will make less detailed "toys",or not make them at all

Hard to believe the BBI F-4 wasn't a success.Very nice model, with good detail, and paint.Jolly rogers too. Very reasonable price for what you got.If this one did not meet sales expectations,I don't know what would. I have a 1:32 Corgi Aviation Archive Mosquito, and it is fantastic.Bomber version, with ...

Does anybody else have a model of the Do 335 "Arrow". Diecast, plastic, whatever. Has anyone made a model of this plane I have an IXO 1:72 scale version.Got it three years ago for like $19.99.Pretty good metal model for $20!Also have the He 219 nightfighter. Does anyone know,or thinks they know, the reason, that these are still not being produced. Is it a question that BBI have not cast anymore F-16's.The have the molds already. They would be a big seller,if any version was produced. Is it that BBI is having trouble with the complicated, high gloss paint sc...

I don't think somebody should be banned from this site for posting a trade advisory. Very nice looking prototype. A brave, but smart choice.Something completely new, that there is a real demand for.One of the most beautiful, and fastest aircraft of WWII.Collectors that already have all the other warbirds, will be all over this. I prefer the bomber version myself, but I would buy at least...

Every member here should be extremely happy that another "company" has decided to enter the 1:18 market.Without JSI we would would have virtually no new releases on the horizon.Other companies may or may not fill the void left by 21C,but JSI is actively doing second releases,of the best sellers.That...

I would also like to find a stand[s] to display my WW2 warbirds gear up.A "cradle" is the best,as you can display different aircraft, and not have the stand be specific to one aircraft. Would be a great idea. I would definately buy at least a couple,if they looked professionally done. Maybe two class...

Looking for a good airbrush, and compressor

I am looking to buy an airbrush, and compressor to do some painting, and coating. I have been out of model building for close to twenty years now.I used to be pretty good at it,and could get some impressive results with my airbrush. I had a Paasche airbrush, with a small compressor. The compressor was a...

I don't have any problems, yet. But I have read that over time the main landing gear can start to sag,due to the weight of the plane.
Just looking for solution[s],to preferably stop this from happening,or to fix it,if it does.
Apparently this is not an uncommon problem.

BBI F-16,F-18 landing gear support.

Any of you guys have ideas as to reduce the weight stress on the landing gear?It never occurred to me that this was going to be a problem, but with the weight of these models,it does make sense. What would be an easy way to reinforce the struts? Not much of a modeller anymore,so it would have to be si...

Also the paint scheme on the BBI F-18 "Jolly Rogers" is ficticious,as far as I know.Should be mostly gray, with the distinctive JR black skull and crossbones on the tails only.
No idea why BBI decided to do a "fantasy"scheme.
I would have prefered a proper scheme.
