Re: Looking for 1:18 oriental figures
Being new to 1/18, I am not sure that this can be done done with these figures or not, but we used to cut the arms and legs down on the 1/6 figures so that we could very the height of the figures. A suggestion for reattaching the limbs would be to use short metal pieces of rod inserted into small ho...

Re: I Counted My 1/18 Figures
Having been a 1/6 guy since the late 1990's, I understand how things are. Being a late comer here, I understand that no one cornered the market. I am sure that it took you some time and money to accumulate your collections as I have with mine. It would seem that action figures (1/6 and 1/18) are bot...

Re: New M-134 with seperate Barrels Ready for Sale
You do some really fantastic work! Is there a master list of your work that are available for sale? I am just getting into the 1/18 world (kind of late, I know). I am focused on WWII US, figures, Fighters and US Helicopters.
Thanks in advance!

Re: JFK's PT 59 in Harlem River
Same thing here. I had no idea that there were several different manufacturers and hull lengths. Back inthe1950's We watched McHale's navy. Growing up, I always thought that it was an American PT Boat. Wrong. It's a Vosper MTB that was acquired for evaluation late in the war. It was acquired by Howa...

Re: RED OCTOBER sub's last deployment
I did not know that the Dallas had been retired. I was lucky enough to have toured the Russian Submarine that portrayed the K-19 Widowmaker, before she was sunk In the Providence river a few years ago in RI. That boat was prehistoric by comparison to ours.

Re: new Sikorsky/Boeing coax helicopter
This news makes me wonder just what they were flying on the night that Seal Team 6 flew into Pakistan in. Could it have been one of these, or something like it.

Re: JFK's PT 59 in Harlem River
NOT to be arguementative, but, the PT-59 was in fact a 77Ft ELCO design. I had thought it also to be a Higgins boat, until I did some research on it. It did not resemble the later ELCO 80 footer in any way.

Re: JFK's PT 59 in Harlem River
I just read about the 59 boat and efforts to recover whatever remains. It is a real shame that it didn't change hands and be restored before it fell victim to a short circuit and fire. I hope that they can find something worthwhile to use of her.

Re: Need help with decals
I also play Flames of War I use 1/72 instead of the standard scale. I use Testors Glosscote before decaling, decal the vehicles wait for a day and then use Testors Dullcote. Never had a problem.

Re: I Counted My 1/18 Figures
I am new here and I have 4 figures. All are from Dragon. I have found several TUS XD US figures on E-bay that are also US Army, but have no helmets, weapons or field gear. I would be forever indebted and willing to pay (plus postage) for a copy of each accessory that were available for these guys. I...
