Re: NEW AVENGERS FROM CHINA??!!!!!!

If you remember the original Mustangs sold for $39.99 and the original price on the avengers was $69.99. So if the Avengers make it to your local Hobby shop they could be $30. more or twice the price of the latest Mustang releases($100.) Just guessing.

They are located less than 10 miles from where I live. I have bought some items and picked them up and they were very nice and friendly staff.

Re: 1:18 Scale Comparison Image

I was told a long time ago that Tamiya started 1/35th. They wanted a monopoly on a scale different then 1/32nd. Airfix , Nitto, Monogram and a few others were working in 1/32 to attract the 54mm miniature figure market. Renwal and Adam(?) in 1/40 were the first armour models I remember.

I believe someone on the boards made a scout car out of the Halftrack. I believe GI Joe had one in 1/6 scale also.

Nice collection. I have seen some of King and Country at a local Antique shop but didn't realize there was so much available in 1/30. I am also a Sherman fan. Which is why Kelly's Heroes will always be my favorite WWII movie.

Wasn't Albert Speer the last prisoner to be imprisioned with Hess? Did Speer ever speak about Hess and his mission? I read Speer's book about 30 years ago or so and don't remember if he did.

I wish I had kept the 1/18 RAF P40. I paid $25.00 for it but took it back. Decided I did want it but they were all gone. The other is the Bunker Hill Avenger.

I have been hoping for a Stuart for some time. I can't understand why 21st made a Stuart in every scale they produced but 1/18. I voted for any of them. My order of preference in manufacturing would be. Unfortunately, my available spending money has dropped considerably. It may be awhile before I co...
