Re: In praise of Power Team

Early PTE guys had removable knee pads for firefights. Great little extra.

Re: The Best 1:18 Items Ever Made

21C S1 Halftrack as best vehicle. I know it's probably considered armor, but I think of it as a vehicle. Anyway, it's highly-detailed yet sturdy, and came with lots of accessories (if I recall correctly - got it ten or eleven years ago). Gotta agree here - the S1 US halftrack is crown jewel - about...

Re: POST ALL TOY FAIR DISCUSSION HERE

I live a few blocks from the JJ center and a friend who works for a trade publication said he would give me a pass - I will take him up on it if there is any reason to do so. Would love to see the new POC Joes that were just announced but I imagine Hasbro will be remote, and that photos of them will...

Man that is sweet. Such a shame that the stock paint couldn't be half as good. Props to TKO though, this is next level.

Re: Finally.

iBall, if you are ever in NYC you can have my MIB FT P-40 for a steal. I would offer to ship but people on here can testify that might take a while (or eternity). Same applies for other members - if ever in NYC and want to see the ultimate 1:18 garage sale, drop me a line.

Been away a while but isn't it nice to come back to a big pile of steamy BS?

If anything was stolen, then I would just have to say Karma's a bitch.

JSI Germans

I see JSI did release the Series 1 21C Germans along with a tanker which is cool for people who needed a few more, though the tanker is blue (possibly correct?). Maybe this is old news? Oddly all these years later these guys have a certain charm that was lost with all the articulation. And I have al...

Re: Should All-Go Make Figures first or Vehicles First

We might as well dream... I have to say though what WWII figures would they release? Getting big stores to carry British WWII troops seems like a tall order, Germans also. U.S. we have them all - paras, Rangers, winter, 30 Cal gunner, drivers, tankers, pilots.. I think bbi was still the best at figu...

Re: Hey Everybody

Hey Brett, Good to see an old avatar. 21C is indeed dead but lives on in JSI (chinese company holding many 21C molds) and All Go Toys (21C people trying to give it another go, with no product yet). We never did get that A-10, though it continues to be invoked by every company. BBI is dead or has put...

They should go out on a thin-limb with a big backpack to make it but if they mess up the weathering. or a gear is not strong enough, I am going to trash talk the Company until the cows come home!

POC Joes - New CC and FF for sale

I grabbed these today because I couldn't just leave them there knowing people are looking for them, though they were $8.50 + tax.
If anyone wants to send me $20 for the two of them, I will throw them in an envelope to you. Otherwise they are going back.

BST

If you decide to trade with someone who is less than 6 months and get burned.....don't come crying to me about it.
This is the key to the rule. Our community doesn't allow BST within 6 months. Otherwise not much else we can do.

Their stuff is all over my TRU along with Chap Mei stuff. I have to say, CM is cranking out pretty cool vehicles - police cars, dragon wagon type trucks, assault boats - really a lot of neat stuff in the lower-tier market.

And for those unlucky enough to be stuck with a $230 Jolly Rogers Tomcat full of liver spots and crappy landing gear (aka Spotcat)? SDCC Cat

Putting aside any improvements - that is a Cat I would buy full price in a second. By simply removing the spots you have the crown jewel of 1:18, plain and simple. Shame there aren't more of those to go around.
