Re: is forces of valor going out of business?

I used to get pretty much all my Enthusiast FOV from my local hobby shop. I would tell him what I want and he would order it up. Great deal because he always gave me a good price, I didn't have to pay for shipping and it always got there super fast. I was in there today shooting the bull and brought...

Re: is forces of valor going out of business?

I used to buy a lot of Enthusiast FOV. Now you're basically paying $60+ to get what would have been considered a $30 Action Series vehicle a few years back.. before they killed that line.:( I didn't mind spending $30 and weathering an Action Series vehicle myself, but I will pass on paying a premium...

Re: Easy Model going 1:48th?

That would be great since all I can afford is Easy Model. I would imagine the prices will be reasonable and even more so if sold at Hobby Lobby with their 30% off coupons. Would have been nice to see a Hellcat, Spitfire or even an upscale of their 1:72 Typhoon. Not interested in either of those Must...

Re: merit Announcment

Just got the email. What a bummer! I got my Huff packed away in the closet, I don't need another Sabre. :? :( If they HAD to do an '86, a Dog Sabre would have been cool but I dunno if I would have bought one of those either. I can pretty much only afford Easy Model 1:72 these days. a 1:18 bird has t...

Does anything move on the model like the turret, gun barrel, etc. or is it all fixed? Not that I could afford one anyway.

Holy cow, so I got big money hiding under that layer of dust covering the Dauntless and Wildcat that I got hanging from the ceiling!   I would have loved to have seen a Hellcat, maybe an Avenger, Corsair and a Helldiver too. Ah, the days of affordable pre-built 1:32 aircraft.... Si...

So glad I am not the only one who feels that way about the link tracks! The horror! I have enough trouble just building the damn model now days let alone subjecting myself to that torture.

Ah, I must have missed the topics somehow. Distribution must indeed be spotty if I am first seeing one now. Still, it was interesting to see a realistic military item at WM again. I miss the old days. :(

Wings of Glory 1:48 @ WM

Anyone seen these? They look just like 21st's 1:48 designs. There was a BF-109, not too bad looking. Box said they were made by BH Toys LLC of San Clemente CA.

Back of the box showed a P-47D, P-51D, FW190D, and a F-104. $9.99. I never saw these before??

Yeah, TRU stocked some 30th stuff here too but I have all I want. I wanted a PoC Jungle BAT but can't find that anywhere. I did find PoC Hawk at Walgreens but they are really slow at putting another figure on the peg. I bet they have one in the back. I remember getting the chrome "Super Trooper" and...

Re: WHAT IS YOUR MAIN AREA OF INTEREST WITHIN THIS HOBBY?

I got into the hobby collecting 1:18 but then switched to 1:32 aircraft and armor. With the demise of 32x, my military purchases are limited to the occasional 1:72 aircraft or armor. I used to like to buy 1:32 and 1:72 FOV action series vehicles and weather them myself they aren't sold in stores any...

Wonder if they improved any? I had their first B-26 and B-25 and they were a mess, bent/broken gun barrels broken landing gear, etc.
