Re: FOV rouses itself from slumber...!!!

c44 - thank you for providing this info. The YouTube video is very helpful. I'm not sure what is going with FOV's promotion group. Seems like the only place to get info on FOV is through The Motor Pool. http://blog.themotorpool.net/

Few 1/32 Forces of Valor for Sale

Selling a two FoV 1/32 tanks 1. Loose jagdpanther Normandy 1944. This was FoV's first release in 2003-2004. I bought it used, so see photos. One of the side skirt hooks is broken I believe, but this does not affect attachment of the skirts. I will include the foliage, if you want it. It is loosely a...

WTB 1/32 Sherman firefly (forces of valor)

hi all,

Looking for the newer forces of valor/Walthersons 1/32 Sherman firefly released in 2019 (FV-801036A. I am late to the revamped forces of valor, and this item seems to have been sold out and discontinued.

New or used is fine.

thanks

Re: FOV

Maybe Tmanthegreat knows if the schurzen can be broken off the FOV Panthers without noticeable damage to the tank. I had thought this before too. Unfortunately, the side skirts are part of the die cast mold and cannot be removed (or at least it would take a lot of effort). Concerning the tank pictu...

WTB Forces of Valor Jagdtiger

Just seeing if anyone has a FOV Jagdtiger around they have been thinking of getting rid of. Loose/out-of-box, any paint scheme is perfectly fine.

Thanks

Re: 21st PAK 40

Perfect. I just found the thread from 2011. I just assumed the PAK worked the same as the Marder IIIM, as in, the gun was in recoil for packaging but could be moved. I was wrong.

21st PAK 40

I recently purchased the PAK 40 75mm anti-tank gun offered by 21st and was surprised to find that the gun is fixed in the recoil position! How did I not know this! I had seen pics of the gun not in recoil. Are there different versions?

Re: FOV 1/32 Creighton Abrams "Thunderbolt" Sherman

The posting on the motor pool site was somewhat confusing is this sherman supposed to have a 76mm gun? That is what their posting seems to indicate. It will most definitely be the m4a3 75. I think the info below was just providing a brief history of the US m4 in wwII, so they mentioned the 76. Abra...

Looking for Pickelhaube's 1/32 Hetzer MG Shield

I missed these a couple of years ago and was wondering if anyone has an extra laying around. Maybe the mold is still around? It's an upgrade for the 21st 1/32 hetzer

Yeah, I actually just bought one from http://www.obsdiecastplanes.com/index.p ... 20a&page=3 a few weeks ago. Good price and model, I just particularly like 82005 model.

Thanks so much for the references. Have you ever looked at Air Power at the Battlefront: Allied Close Air Support in Europe, 1943-45? It's by Ian Gooderson.

Book Search

Looking for recommendation for a book that evaluates effectiveness of allied ground attack aircraft in WW2. The closest I have read was in Nicklas Zetterling's book, Normandy 1944: German Military Organization, Combat Power and Organizational Effectiveness.

Re: Turret Track Hooks

why is gluing them out of the option? i wouldn't think there would be another option for the 21c as its plastic. as for the FOV the turret is metal so if you make the hooks from metal you may be able to solder them on and it would be a strong bond. all depending if the metal you use to make the hoo...
