Re: SCALE & SCALE FLYING

It's actually 6ft wingspan and almost 7 ft length. 2m = 3ft.

Great video, really reflects all the hard work put into the making of this model. Makes me regret not getting one. Have you been watching Wings of the Luftwaffe lately?

If you look at the 262 landing gear doors on Merit's pictures they look the same as the 21st doors, Admirals look different.

I would like to see some pics. I was thinking of getting one of these based on your findings and any pics you had, but they only have the mosquito left in stock. So FSK is out of business?

Re: Requests for 3D Printers

Good Idea. And I would like a set of welding tanks as well but in 1/16 for my FAMO. I have been working on a few 3d items to print. A 1/16 early ausf E/F turret mantlet for my 1/16 panzer III, and a 1/18 panzerwerfer 42. I made an early panzer III cupola and printed it at shapeways and it turned out...

Re: 1/18 British Cromwell

T-34 uses the Christie suspension system. Walter Christie could not get much interest in his designs in Britain and the US so he sold many of his designs to the Soviet Union, the russians adopting this suspension for many of their tanks. Have a look at the pictures above of the tracks and suspension...

Re: Battleground Toys - Updated 11-25-12

You should consider doing the RSO/4 pak 40 version. Then one could just drop the 21st pak 40 gun and shield part onto your chassis.

Well, you beat me to it. Started modeling one to make 1:18.
I will be all over this, very interested in an RSO, I would like to make an RSO/4 pak 40 as well so I'd be looking at 2.
Are you using 3DS max?

Great Job on the tigers. The recognition flag is very well done as well.
I'm doing a Das Reich tiger on one of my 1/16 tigers.
Nice to see you added the S mine launchers as well, nice touch.

That's too bad, I don't have one of these, but have been thinking about getting one lately. I'm not so sure now if they are that bad. Did you get both from Badcat? Anyone else notice these flaws from other dealers?

As for tools, I jump around between Sketchup, Blender and 3ds Max depending on what needs to be done. Good to know. I'd like to try making parts from a 3d render as well. I made a Puma in 3ds max, not that I intend on making a Puma, but have a few other things in mind. http://i280.photobucket.com/a...

Being thouroughly familiar with this subject, you did a great job. The travel lock, the notches on the pak 40 shield and late variant flat viewports and single piece engine hatch are nice details. I didn't manage to build that thing that's supposed to be on the right side of the shield, what is it? ...

Hey Grunt1, Your Puma looks great, I'm interested, I've wanted a Puma and sdkfz 234/1 in 1/16 or 1/18 for a long time, the best looking of the 234 variants.

What program are you using to design the parts, solidworks?

Could we see some more pictures?
