Re: Good Trader Report - PART 2 - Post good Trade stories he

Like others on the board have stated, I also had a great deal with
Fullyautomatic. He is a super person to deal with, and highly recommended
if anyone in the future has a chance to do any deals with him.
Brian is the type fella that makes up the "backbone" of this forum.
Thanks again....droptank

Re: Walmart Find

Due to all the above, I'm not surprised (and I'm rather glad) that AllGo failed. For the reasons you listed, I also got a great chuckle yesterday when I saw them stacked up on the clearance aisle at Wally world. . My thought was "How bad is your product and marketing when you can't even clear them ...

Re: merit Announcment

Why not VF-41 Black Aces on the next Tomcat release. "Fast Eagle 102" or "Fast Eagle 107" would be an excellent choice. In 1981, 102 claimed the first Tomcat kill, quickly followed by 107 downing the 2nd. If memory is right, 107 & "Revlon" were a lost few years later. While the Reagan Library has a ...

Pickelhaube, I voted no for only the reason that the bird does not interest me as a collectible. In no way was it a vote against your skills to develope this AC. To any still considering this project, I feel 100 % confident this is the fella that can get it done and deliver a quality model, with the...

Ran across some of these over the weekend. Not impressed and passed.
Until 21st releases some of their "in the pipeline" projects, or at least a legitimate marketing strategy, I will pass on any of their Wal-mart or repaint junk and leave someone else the opportunity to purchase them.

Other than a F4 Phantom or Mosquito, I would have to vote no. I know you have the skills to develope an awesome model, it is just not a bird I would be willing to try to squeeze in.
Best of luck if you engage in this project.

Big Mike I also think it will have good sales. Compared to the cost of most 1/32 Phantom kits in todays market, the price is not that far out of line considering it will be a finished, pre-built model.

In my area the 109's sat on the shelf collecting dust until making it onto the clearance ailse for $7.00 . Don't notice slots anymore for any new arrivals as the tags have been removed, so if you see one and want it, perhaps you should get them while you still can.

Re: New 1/48 Erich Hartmann Black Tulip Bf-109G

Had given up on All-Go so was surprised to notice them at 2 Wally's in my area. I did notice that all 8 on the shelf at 1 store all appeared to be very nice without the usual 21st flaws. Could not notice any flaws in any of them as far as paint, smudges or crooked props, or rattling pieces. Did not ...

Back to the Hornet, I am on the fence on this release. I think BBI offers decent copies of the F-18 and it actually falls close to the price I would expect. After snagging many of them when BBI and Badcat offered them for much less, do I really need to add another hornet for $200 is my dilema. Do I ...

Re: Wings of Glory 1/48 Red Tails P-51B Mustang at Wal-mart

I saw them at two WMs on 45s (near Clear lake and one pass Hobby) and at the one on 290 near Tidwell, and the one on 1960/Eldridge. Most had 6-10 of them. I did not get one as I collect 1/18 strictly. But a B/C P-51 would be neat to own in any scale. Seems to be thinning out. Of the 2 on 1960 I wen...

Have seen them show @ 3 local WM's in my area. Appears each was stocked with 8. Unlike the "shangrila" & "red 19" repaints, I purchased several to help the cause. Not the greatest quality, but very reasonable for the price. Can always use for future repaints also. I was happy to see at least some sh...

Don't know if any of the major retail chains will commit to reality military items. Seems sometimes people complain about these products in the major chain stores and some companies may shy away. Of course they all like to make money, so if any products do come to life and they can make money, perha...

Price estimates seem high, but overall opening bid price seems reasonable. E-bay boils down to product and price for most folks. Sometimes you have to cut thru the bull to get to the hard facts. If it is too out of line, you move on. Still remember a Matchbox 1/72 P-38 listed as "extremely rare" sol...

I Remember seeing them stacked about 8 high along the back shelves at some of the small town Wally's here. Would always fill the truck up when I saw them marked down to $25.00 or less. On a trip thru Brady, TX once, I counted 21 Atlantic avengers stacked up. Couple months later on my drive thru I de...
