It's my understanding that all Black Knights were LED lit.

Re: What does the wife really think about 18th ?

My wife has handled it as well as can be expected. She has seen many collections come and go. The problem is when they go something always replaces them. I have too wide of a collection span so it's not just 1:18th. Its model kits, Star Wars, toys I had when I was a kid, 1-1 cars, etc. I bet if I pi...

Re: This Weekend's Show and Sale

Not a fan of this club anymore. I didn't like how they handled themselves in the Fort Thomas situation at all. Fort Thomas was a way better show when it was there as it pulled from a local community. You can't replicate that at Etertrainment Junction. The entire community supported it there. Venders...

Re: Where is everyone?

I don't follow here much anymore. Lost interest when things dried up. Haven't really moved on to anything new, just kind of stopped collecting in general. Would have kept going on strong had we still received a few new things once in a while. I'm down to a handful of 1:18th now. A few of my favorite...

I believe the Spot Cat is in the $300 range while the BK is around 5 bills. Out of box/used is a bit less.

Re: 1:18 M3A1 Scout Car - WIP - 4-11-2016 New Pics

I think the headlights on the HT's tend to be mounted on the side of the hood verses the Scout Car's being on the fenders. Otherwise they seem extremely close. I would be interested in the rear section if and when it becomes available. Reach out and PM me when its time. I'm not on here that much any...

Re: 1/18 F-14 Tomcat re-release?

You watch, the lit version will creep up close to a grand over the next few years. Sure am glad i bought mine when new. I couldn't afford it now. I used to have a second MIB "Spotcat". Regretting not holding on to it as an investment.

I would grab one before they go up any higher.

Oh yes i remember the original Groundpounders board. I joined shorty after buying my first 1:18th model. Im thinking it was 2001 ish. I remember Arlene as well. She was always very nice and quick to help with broken or missing parts. Seems like a very long time ago. Probably because it is!

Thats going to be a hard sell. He never really mentioned what he really wanted for it. He just gave his crazy opinion on its end of the rainbow value. I always wondered why people think they can get anywhere near those prices off of Craigslist. Nowadays your lucky to get a quarter of something's val...

Re: Is Bad Cat about to give up the ghost...?

I haven't posted in a while but i couldn't pass this topic up. A few years back they had a 1:6th scale R/C Hummer on their website on close out. It was cheap for what it was and was marked as being eligible for their shipping deal at the time. I forget the exact money amount but it was cheap enough ...

WTB 1/6 schwimmwagen for my son

I thought I would try here first. I know a lot of us cross over to 1/6th a bit sometimes. I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive schwimmwagen for my son for Christmas. He's recently gotten into the scale and even had a display at a show here locally. He wants one to work on and fix up. I already w...

WTB Armourpax 1/6th MG-34 Mounts for Halftracks

Does anyone have one of these or something equivalent they no longer need? My son is wanting to put his Sd.Kfz 250 Halftrack in a local show coming up but we are missing a front MG and shield. Any help would be appreciated.

Hate to be a downer but i'll believe that rumor when i see product available for purchase. 21C had a well documented history of testing the waters with potential new releases that never materialized. While i would be very excited to see them back in the game, even if they did jump in i doubt we woul...

On ebay people already have just about everything marked up 300%. I'm not the biggest figure guy but the set is pretty good. This is the time e-sellers make the most on flipping items like this. They are banking on people being so excited that they can't wait to find them in stores locally. After t...

Re: What is in the future of our Beloved 1/8th Scale

I'm ready to leave the scale. I haven't decided the scale i would like to focus on but to me 1:18th WWII is dead. Mostly modern stuff in the till or aircraft. If you want something new you have to build it yourself or buy an expensive resin kit. Almost all new 1:18th is crazy expensive now. I'll hol...

Re: Hitler's trip to 2014 Comic Con

Well i'm sure it does get tiering hearing all the negatives when you are trying to keep customers happy. Best things to do is not listen to it and just do your thing. It's kind of a double edged sword. You want to know what the collectors out there want but at the same time you have to listen to the...
