Re: New 1:18 Planes & Cannons from China!

Melvin, do you know if Xaiohaoshou is part of JSI or do they make the models for them? And then Merit distributes them? I wish someone from 21st could tell us what went down and how its all come to this.... :| One thing I'd like to see is the return of the 1:18 Panzer IV...............I don't know ...

Oh, that is nice!

I bought FW-190D just long enough to have that emotional sinking feeling and a few explicatives run through my head.

Sigh, 1/18 scale angst.

Re: Prices Way Down On E-bay

Haven't priced any vehicles lately, but I was a single bidder on a couple of pilot figures recently at prices that almost made me feel guilty. But, no, I'm not going to part with them anytime soon to ease my conscious. The same thing seems to be going on with some of the NHRA diecast cars 1/...

I had the "Snoopy and the Red Baron skill and action marble game."
Later, I moved on to PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader. Interesting games, felt I like I learned a lot from them and Kriegsspiel.

Re: What is your Favorite WW 1 Plane ?

While I voted for the Albatros, I really like the looks of the SPAD too. I got the Matchbox 1/48 SPAD when it came out and pretty much fell in love with it. Great looking plane. I think a company called Authentic Models produces completed models of the SPAD, Dr.1, Jenny and Sopwith in several scales...

You know I thought that between the Porsche Turret, the Production Turret and the JagdTiger that Mathew had the KingTiger totally covered... but I was wrong. 8) Now I know what you are gonna say, that was never built, that was just a dream, a "paper panzer" as they are called. Thats what I thought ...

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Production Has Started But Kinda Stalle

Very nice of you Skypirate! Thanks :) I wonder just how many of those on the list are the full build?? I think I might be the only one. I don't recall if pickelhaube and I ever discussed when the full build would fit into his production schedule, but I would speculate getting the models out first s...

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Production Has Started But Kinda Stalle

Hey pickelhaube, I'm not in a hurry. I requested a full build and think it makes sense to cast mine in order, but assemble it after delivering for everyone else. That way you can get the models into the hands of the community quicker. I don't know what you're time frame is, but I would actually be h...

That builder made it happen. He built the stash. Hat's off to him.

Good for you Mad Sam, for giving these models a new home. Very good.
Definitely. It's great that his collection found an appreciative new owner. Great collection.

1/35 Tiger I with magnets for suspension?

I know somebody else has mentioned this model before, but I couldn't find the thread. It's a very detailed 1/35 Tiger I. From the look of the instructions, it appears they use magnets to assist with the suspension.

How do you staff the volkssturm when you run out of old men and boys? I see a new episode of Secrets of WWII in the works for the History Channel.
