I'm adding another BF-109 to the above mix - a same condition, first series yellow-nose "White 12".

"The plane that started it all"

Thanks

WTT (your choice of) 1/18 BF-109E4 for 1/18 Gray Tiger 1

I’m looking for a factory sealed, Tiger 1 tank for an upcoming gift need. My first choice is the original gray version, but the winter whitewash is a possibility. For trade, I have your choice of three BF-109E4's; a Tropical, a Winter or the Nightfighter version. One tank for one plane. All of my 10...

All I can say is good luck replacing these beauties if you sell out. I'm finding more local friends (who aren't 1/18 savvy) getting interested in "those big planes". I feel lucky to have the collection I do. Ditto on possibly selling off a double or two to fund something I don't have, just to round ...

I guess there's always hope. Personally speaking, 21st Century provided me with some of the biggest and continuing "WOW" factors of any hobby I've ever had. Simply heading down the isle in TRU towards their section was a rush. Then seeing some of those HUGE boxes (which weren't there just a few days...

LOL on Bob

No offense, but is that damaged Spitfire casting/mold story verifiable anywhere?

That's a biggie

Re-paints sure - at least we'd have something "new".

As far as the re-releases go, they just lower the values for those that originally bought them.

Now only if Wal-Mart would stock up again.

The Yellow-nose Stuka has been at the top of my list for awhile. It's paint scheme from top to bottom is truly superb, and fully helped along by its size.

FWIW, I believe that my all-time favorite WWII aircraft, a FW-190A will knock it off it's pedestal - IF ever produced.

Thanks!

I agree with what tkjaer21 just posted about AT. I thought I read that was somewhere close to their policy as was mentioned on thier website back then. Being a collector and trader, I bought several of AT's original F-86's when they came out, and some were for future considerations. Now they are on ...

Of all that has been mentioned so far, an F-14 could very easily pry $140 away from me - and for quite a few re-paints too. To my eye, very few aircraft ever had such superb lines that came together so near perfectly. Love that plane. Whatever it is, my hat's off to Badcat for adding even more excit...

Agreed. Until this particular 109 came along, the 1/32 Devil Dogs Corsair got my full vote for the best looking, best proportioned and best marked plane to date – and that’s in both 1/18 and 1/32 scales. Then a few weeks ago I bought this truly superb, 109F Desert version and my "personal best" cont...

I might just have to hold my breath until a FW-190A comes along.

Nobody would want THAT sort of action on thier hands . . . but it's beginning to look like it may be the only way.

If that has to happen, just a small write-up here . . . nothing too big - please.

It's a good cause.

Thanks

Here's an idea . . .

To lessen any possible (and previously mentioned) "scooped" feeling over this bird - I sure wouldn't mind a proper 1/32 scale Dauntless by 21st Century.

Wouldn't THAT help to make a perfect world.

I concur with all the great mentions about both the F and G 1/32 109 models. The level of detail and quality of overall (and specific) paint is especially noteworthy. I certainly do not wish that my following comments overshadow 21st Century’s great effort on these planes. After checking many (40+) ...

Amen. The ONLY plane that's been offered in 1/18 (within the last two years) that's truly got me goin' was AT's F-86. No bad rubs here but I personally could have done very nicely without an FW 190 "D" model, Avenger, F104, ME-262 and countless Mustangs. The only ones I've actually purchased were se...

Anyone ever seen any official info on it?

Oh yeah ... and it's even better looking in person. What collecion would be complete without it. The paint work in the smaller squadron details is remarkable. I remember sending my brother a NIB one the same time I bought mine. I thought he needed an "E" for the collection. I think it's about time f...
