Re: New releases from Witty Wings for 2011

oooh.. Fulcrum and Flanker! I'm very keen on these 2, wonder if they come with the new optional gear as opposed to fixed? All of the WW "Series 2" planes have the gear up/down option, which means the F-14 & Corsair will have it. The Flanker and Mig are not listed at the Mule as "Series 2" which I a...

looking for 1/72 scale decal sheet VF111 Miss Molly :( The Zotz set is the only one I know of in 1/72, and it's been out of print for a while. Re: Panzer Lehr pics??

Thanks dude. I just purchased one on ebay for about $20. Sure, no problem. While I don't personally have the Panzer Lehr Bildband, I have one on the 6th Panzer Div. and it is excellent, so I'm fairly confident you'll be happy with your Panzer Lehr Bildband. Let us know how you like it once you've h...

Re: Old Crow minus the Crow

I would probably just leave it as is. Perhaps somebody would pay even more, as it a hopefully a pretty unique factory screw up.
Yep, he could list it as the Uber Rare "Stealth" Old Crow sans Crow... You just never know, someone might plunk down some serious coin for an oddity like that.

New releases from Witty Wings for 2011

New paint schemes for the WW 1/72 scale SU-27 Flanker, F-14 Tomcat, Mig-29 Fulcrum, and A-7 Corsair are on tap for early next year. All of these are currently up for pre-order at either the Mule or Aiken's and perhaps Rezzed's Collectibles ebay store will have them too. The Flanker and Mig-29 scheme...

Re: Panzer Lehr pics??

One the better books for pictures available on Panzer Lehr is Kurowski's "Die Panzer-Lehr-Division 1944-1945", it can usually be found on the used market in nice condition for about $25. This is one of the so-called "Bildband" from German publishers that focus on captioned pictures of the troops, eq...

Re: Looking for 1/16 Scale Abrams Accessories & Mods

One solution would be to just use the 1/18th stuff from Build-a-Rama. No one will ever know the difference.

http://www.build-a-rama.com/catalog_1_18.shtml

You can also occasionally find this stuff used on ebay for somewhat less than full retail.

I've wanted a 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon to add to my collection for a while, but outside of the Corgi version which I personally don't like, nobody else offers a diecast 1/72 Eurofighter. Very nice, somebody put a lot of time and money in to these displays. I recognize many of the structures from Barzso and TSSD product lines. There must be a good market for these items as they keep releasing new offerings pretty frequently, and the stuff aint' cheap.

Don't know about the Dragon, but 4D is slated to release an Apollo 11 Lunar Module & Command Module in 1/72 scale. If these are anything like the F-14 series they should be outstanding models in quality and detail. Aikens has both up for pre-order now. http://www.famemaster.com/show.asp?id=103&nid=0...
