Tanker85 present and accounted for. I have been lurking mostly in the background but I wanted to say I have been here since around 2003. I have really enjoyed being a part of this forum and hope it will long continue.
Tanks for the memories

Where are you located? Someone on the board may be close enough to come look at your collection. Sorry to hear you are getting out of 1/18th collecting, but it sounds as though it may be a windfall for someone else to get things they may not have.

norwaystar06 Congrats on your addition of the F 104, word of caution though, the landing gear is notoriuosly fragile so if you display with wheels down you should support its weight with a stand of somekind. Also of historical significance, my uncle Bill flew one of these jets in the early sixties. ...

Hi Coryeagle48
The jeep you are displaying is the PTE jeep. Not alot of value there, but certainly
trading material for someone.

Re: New Bravo Team Modern 1:18 Figures (sort of)
Yesterday I went to my local Target in Joplin Mo and to my complete dismay there was nothing related to Bravo figures in either 1/18 or 1/32. Two weeks ago I saw they were doing a reset but never imagined that they were removing the line. There wasn't even anything in the clearence isle. I am wonder...

I didn't read the description, they must be uber rare, since I have the only Wal-Mart in America in my neighborhood. I suppose I should go buy all 6 that are in stock and put them away for safe keeping?

It is located near the bottom of this series of photos. Theres no door on the box but it is mounted to the fender and ...

Re: where is the external infantry telephone on the 21c M48?
Our most common application was in a defensive posture in a static night time fighting position maintaining radio silence and operating LP/OPs and security patrols. Ground personnel could talk without having to mount the tank. Also in cold weather, inclement weather or chemical environment, the tank...

Re: where is the external infantry telephone on the 21c M48?
Your record is still intact TTT. Your interpretation is correct. The radio bracket is connected to the backdeck (engine cover) and extends out over the fender giving it the impresison that its connected to the fender. And you are correct aferg 21st got it wrong.

Re: where is the external infantry telephone on the 21c M48?
Heres some supplemental info for you Aferg. The radio box does not set on the fender because of excessive vibrations from the thin metal of the fender. But rather mounted on a bracket thats attached to the back deck that covers the engine. The box is at shoulder height and is more conveint then it a...
