Re: 1/18 Trains

I believe G scale is the closest thing to 1/18 and I think its about 1/20 or 1/24. There are many great buildings in this scale made by Pola and Piko along with endless amounts of accessories.

The closest Ross to me is 1.5 hrs. Maybe I'll get by there someday. In the mean time I'll scout some other locations. Who knows what we can find.

:P Off subject, what ever it is. Question Mg-42 would you tell me about your Tank Destroyer shoulder patch. My friends father served in this unit HHC 333rd SSR. Do you have special significance to that unit?

Thanks

Re: ToysRUS---BBI 1/18 WW II figures?

I think its funny...I imagine of "a bunch of Auction KIng type people" standing around bidding on crates of various scales of military action figures and trying to physic each other out to get the bid. But who knows maybe its a sealed bid deal????

Re: ToysRUS---BBI 1/18 WW II figures?

I haven't seen any BBI in my TRU in a very long time. About 6 months ago I found 2 FOV 1/32 vehicles with damaged boxes and I bought them for $10 ea. No expectations of seeing any more unfortunately.

:) I've bought many of their vehicles and hope to see the 1/4 ton trailer soon. They make great dates for all my 5 yr old daughters Disney Princesses and she loves it when I pick them up in the Black Hawk and fly them to the ball. Currently the APC is pulling Guard Duty around the Castle compound as...

:D Great ending to your saga. I received a 1/16 Danbury mint 1941 Dump truck in marine green scheme
yesterday. Packaging was adaquate but the front right axle broke. The steering linkage is the only thing
holding the tire and hub on. It was insured so claim pending. Hope it comes out fairly.

Re: schleich airplane

I have the truck and it is a pretty versitle vehicle. It is underscale but still works very well with 1/18. It can be used in many different scenarios. In fact I use many of the Schleich, Papo, and Safari Ltd accessories in my dioramas. Scale is close enough and a wide varity to choose from. Example...
