Well it may appear like an optical illusion on the scale difference, I don't know for sure. If you look at the photo of the real planes side by side you can see the beefy bulk of the Hellcat compared to the more slender fuselage of the corsair.....http://www.flickr.com/photos/yod/234147654/

Glad to see the SBD and Skyraider still coming and I really hate the F-4 got set to the side but I understand why, just business reality.

Yes, will the Phantom show up both at stores and online? I would like to save on shipping and get it at TRU.

Do you know how many paint schemes are currently planned for the Dauntless?

Thanks

I have no doubt 21C could do a great looking 1/32 Hellcat if they put their mind to it. Wouldn't mind seeing a Japanese Frank or George to go with that Hellcat either :)

Your right Aferg I should be use to this having been at it since 2000, but I just can't quite get over the ridiculous waste of money. Maybe you can us tell what numbing cream you use. :)

The desert scheme prototype is 1 of 3. It sold on ebay a couple years ago for $560... 21st still has the other 2. Hey VMF214, I remember it selling on ebay and always wondered if a 21C agent was told to buy that back at any cost. Maybe TKO can do some digging around at 21C and see if they go...

So the Desert 109 prototype was the only one ever made? This one is especially interesting to me due to my North African focus. What's the story? Ok, here goes the story as best I remember because this all happened around 2000/2001 so it's been a while. Back in the day when 21C had a fanclub you co...

Without a doubt the Desert Scheme 109 protoype is the Holy Grail(in my humble opionion), I remember that one because I was indirectly involved with letting them(21C) know they accidently shipped it out.

Technically, I think its a cat mouth and eyes. The play on the Hell "cat" name and something different from what the army aircorp was doing still very cool....http://www.blueboxtoys.com/bbi2005/imag ... o/008b.jpg

BBI could do one, however, if 21c wanted something really cool to add to their wonderful 32x lineup  But then, apart from a Hellcat in 1:32, I'd also like to see a P-38, an Avenger and the list goes on... I'd like to see all those on your list and add a P-61 BlackWidow to that. Well I can dre...

Thanks Mike, I love that Hellcat with the shark mouth. :D I'm with you sabrefan...I luv that scheme and will holdout for that one. Re: BBI Zero Is it the most expensive?

The Woofer had a white BBI Zero that sold for over $330 !! The green one has been selling for about $150 to $250 . The white Bf 109 has been going for about $125. Has the BBI hit a home run on there Zero? It has only been about 4 months since everybody has sold out. There are still some gre...

Hellcat at TRU?

I apologize if this has already been asked but is the Hellcat going to be at TRU? Just wanting to know if I should wait or pony up and get one at Badcats.

Thanks
