hello, curious to what 1/6 forums exist so I can see if there is any interest in a few 1/6 items I have.
1/6 Stuart ( still in box. never opened) not sure what series release, in storage unit.
1/6 Kubel wagen ( same)
various 1/6 figures and weapon sets, all unopened.

Re: 1/18 FW-190A?
my take, whatever it is, just buy it and quit nitpicking the scale, paint, decals or detail of the cockpit. I'm sure there are folks on this board who have written long lengthy letters to the manufacturers complaining about this or that of prior released items. Granted the Spotcat deserved every bit...

Along with all that was Pegasus with their 1/18 scale offerings. I was hoping they would continue their releases.

Re: Ultimate Soldier M2 Bradley -- 1/6 Scale Version!
ahh the glory days! Running to TRU once a week to see what was new, same thing for walmart checking all the isles to look for any hidden items or misplaced 1/18 stuff. I remember seeing those big 1/6 items and I was always disappointed in the lack of detail. Oh and I was in a 500 sq foot apartment s...

Re: Any Scoop on the new 1/18th Scale Harrier...?
I don't know for sure, but common sense would indicate a prototype mold will be pretty cheaply made and low cost vs a heavy precision final production mold for a serious 5000 item run.

Re: REVIEW OF THE 1/18 scale Harrier AV-8B
I was thinking of my past when I kicked myself for not buying something that now is extremely rare in box or uber expensive. I also saw a JSI F-14 original "spotcat" listed on ebay for over $400 with tons of watchers. JSI doesn't make the F-14 anymore right? How many Spits, P-51's, P-47's and P-38's...

whoever is making the moulds didn't want to do that. Last time I checked, whoever is PAYING for the moulds should GET what they want! Can we not really make this stuff here in the USA?? Re: REVIEW OF THE 1/18 scale Harrier AV-8B
Mine is on the way!!! I've wanted a large scale Harrier since the airfix 1/24 kit in the 80's! I really really wanted a Sea Harrier (Falklands War era) I think someone posted it here all ready, re canopy: Maybe they ran out of time with remakes and fixes etc... and said we have to let it go! Second ...

Re: 1/16 tanks
Hobbytown in our area is a shell of what it used to be... can't believe all the drone stuff.
No gears sets. so I ordered two heng long turret motor units to scrounge gears/motors off. The Mato ones are different but do the same function so I assume gears will be the same. Not much $$ anyway

I'd be using that for something else full sizeIf this were Weird Science then I could get the real thing in full scale. No need for a pilot since I would just fly it myself.
Ordered today, lets see, that will the first 1/18 plane purchased since the Dauntless.

Re: Any Scoop on the new 1/18th Scale Harrier...?
$240? I've spent more for diecast 1:18 cars. I'm in for at least one, maybe more. I hope they give us a heads up as the release date nears. Years ago $240 was a top of the line Exoto 1/18 F1 car! Now they are almost $500 with years of wait time. I just paid $170 for a Mattel "elite" Ferrari 312 T2 ...

Re: My Conversation with A Merit Rep Regarding 1/18th Scale
I bought my dad a 21c f104 and the avenger (first issue) and he never took them out of the box. he was a master modeler and would win awards at most shows. The attention to detail was key to winning awards. Me i don't really care too much I was collecting to save for the future. I've never even take...

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
I agree WHERE the HELL is the new stuff??? HOW can it take YEARS to make a limited release? Just what are they doing? Is it a matter of craftmanship or limited resources? And why is it so "secret" for a toy that no one knows? It's not like a hundred other kit companies are gonna start making 1/18 Ha...

All that Enterprise needs is funding and a few hundred permits signed off.
Then you could have phasers and photon torpedos light show as well.
Duh...just like the artwork shows! sorry wasn't paying attention, happens a lot nowadays.
