Re: FW 190 as a kit
Based on my experience with some kits, this may indeed mean no more A-5's unless they cut a new wing mold. Generally they cut a single mold and work it to death, resulting in eventual misaligned parts and flash.

Re: 1/16 GERMAN Armored Train
It'll need a repaint as ambush camo was never applied to these. The name is a little misleading as well, since these weren't actually trains; they were essentially armored patrol cars self-powered by a 76hp engine adapted to run on track like the Germans did with a few AFVs like the French Panhard 1...

Needs to work on those launch pads, though. Missing a lot of detail. Don't want an "A" model on a "C" base.

The Hetzer was actually based on the 38 design, but didn't use the same parts. The hull was widened and lengthened.

Interesting visit today
So, a friend of mine from work is going out of town and so are her parents, so I was asked to watch their animals in the meantime. As she takes me to her parents, she says to not be taken aback by her dad's war stuff. I tell no problem as I build military models. We go inside, introduces me, and we ...

You'd think West Point would have a class or two on that subject.
Not that he wouldn't have dismissed it as Capitalist Propaganda, comrade. We have enough beta males as it is, without letting them in our military.

Too bad he couldn't be executed for treason.
Why do so many idiots become attracted to socialism/communism when every example of it has proven it is a negative and failure-ridden philosophy?

Other than the prototypes/test vehicles the bulk of them were standard Splinter pattern with mottling (usually just on the tail). Unless someone wants to replicate the OG example at the Uvdar-Hazy facility.

If you don't have all the missing parts to fix it, maybe you could make it into a recovery vehicle or something.

I feel bad that you guys still trying to keep 1/18 afloat have to make do with such inaccurate, poorly-scaled kiddie toys. I appreciate the attempts at modifying them to get them more in tune with reality, but the fact remains that you can only do so much, and some things you are stuck with, like th...

Re: An Availability Observation
Well, the 1/32 planes always had a sticker saying "1 of 5000 pieces" or something like that, so once you spread that across the globe - and as you can see from the membership here it is global - then you can see why they are scarce in comparison to other figure lines. Lots more superhero fans than m...

The tanker is a figure by Torro, I believe. Part of their 1/16 line of accessories for the RC tanks.
I don't know who makes the G.I.s, but they are also aftermarket. If you image search "1/16 Sherman crew" they also show up in several photos, on Pinterest especially.

It's kind of crazy to think it has been so long now.
As much as I miss it, though, switching to kits has increased my collection 20x in size. It'll take at least a decade to build them all is the disadvantage.

I think it's the fact that there is very little 1/18 out there for sale that keeps people from joining these forums. Many people who did collect got out of it. People don't generally join forums for products they can't get.

Well, it's been a few years since the Spotcats came out. I believe Merit bought a few of their large molds but the only A-10 that got close was the prototype Pickelhaube was briefly associated with before the Skyworks asshole stole it.

Not only are you posting in a thread that died almost six years ago, but you're making a request of a company that effectively gave up that market nearly as long ago.

It's $500; they announced it back in the beginning of February. No mention of a prebuilt.
