1/18 kits at my local Hobbytown

Came across the Trumpeter Fw190A-8, Me-262A and F-86 Sabre kits yesterday at my local Hobbytown. Not my cup of tea, although the Me-262 was tempting.

I'm pretty sure K&C figures are slightly larger than 1/32 but I don't recall exactly what the difference is.

Re: FS: Some 1/32 planes

I didn't even realize they actually properly clipped the wings for that release. I assume they did not do that for the 1/18 version, right? I'm pretty sure they didn't. 21st made some unique variations that weren't repeated in any other model, probably because they went out of business before they ...

Might be time to try a repaint? All you need is a set of the proper decals and the paint. Unless you are meaning to fill a 21st Century collection hole?
The FAA Corsair is the only Corsair with the proper clipped wing tips, so I really couldn't do a repaint.

HARRY: I've got four P-51B models (Berlin Express, Shangri-La, Bullfrog and Bald Eagle) and none have a pitot tube----but they do have a hole for a pitot tube. So I've been thinking about making crude pitot tubes from a paper clip, but it seems like a lot of trouble for something on the bottom of t...

HARRY:

The P-51 "Mrs. Bonnie" comes with a pitot tube, so I guess 21st Century decided to save money and exclude the pitot tube for the future Mustangs.
I don't have any of the D models, but I'm pretty sure the "B" models had the pitot tubes.
