1/18 Sahl "Black 8" Bf109G-6 F/S

As some of you know I was laid off a little over a month ago (oil and gas) and I have come to the point that I need to sell a few things off and thin my collection out. I have a 1/18 Sahl "Black 8" Bf109G-6 For Sale. I bought this second hand but I don't think it's ever been opened. The plane looks ...

F/S 1/32 Ultimate Soldier Ju87B Stuka "Scotty dog" CUSTOM

Due to loss of employment, I've decided to part with my 1/32 Ju87B "Scotty Dog" Stuka. This was built from the 21st Century kit and painted by me. It comes with (2) crew members and is in excellent condition. I am asking $75 shipped in the US. http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag158/hworth18/21st%...

That is big!! Just be glad it isn't the normal size version which would probably be about twice the length.

Re: Dragon P-47's?

The Dragon P-47's are fine models, the only issue that I remember is that some of them have the top cowl panels raised which isn't accurate, but the ones that don't are great models.

Yeah, the 4-Star Military line was 21st's attempt to market the line to Target. Target did carry the line temporarily but it didn't last long. I bought a few of the 1/32 planes when they came out.

Re: % of collectors that also build models to supplement the

I still collect 1/48 diecast but I prefer to build models. It gives me a little more satisfaction to look on the shelf and see something I built. I also like to repaint diecast in schemes that aren't available.

Re: How wrong is too wrong?

I still build models regularly but I build to what I like. I found that IPMS contests were more than often judged on accuracy based on what the armchair experts thought and not based on actual known facts. Basically, the judge that thought he knew it all about Bf109's really didn't know what he was ...

Re: Doyusha 1/72 pre-built models?

I have built many of the Hobby Boss 1/72 easy build kits and they are NOT Easymodel, and Easymodel are NOT HobbyBoss kits built up. It is possible that Doyusha is using a combination of both since they are all manufactured in China and many times even under the same factory roof.

I seriously doubt anyone would ever know the difference and that the DH-4's were the wrong version. What matters is that you are happy with the outcome and feel you achieved the desired effect with what you had to work with.

Re: Bronco 1/48 P-40 Flying Tigers

I saw that, Dragonmodels-USA has a few more pics but they are the same quality. The model looks pretty basic, and I hope it doesn't come with Bronco models extravagant price tag. They seem to think their model kits are gold plated or something.
