POST BY DIGGER: With no movie, role-playing game, comic book, or tv show tie-in, it's pretty wishful thinking that all of a sudden there will be a market for such a line....at least they haven't spent much effort so far - that's a LAV Turret with an m1 120 stuck on instead of the cannon, and then as...

momaw.....that's a cool project and one i've considered tackling myself on several occassions. How much converting have you decided to do? At it's most basic all one need do is add the 37mm wing cannon pods and then paint it up like a Rudel Stuka. That would kinda sorta look the part. As mentioned a...

What's her face Cruz is in it....isn't she the heroine? Anyway, i'd bet they got the rights for a song. Don't imagine there was much of a bidding war for them. Maybe the movie will appeal to kids and that will help sell the toys. I think it's a good direction for 21C to go as it will increase exposu...

http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=66&show_article=52 Here's some specific info about 21C's 'Sahara' line. Hope it doesn't bomb... Anyway, if the figures have the right garb on should be an easy conversion using them and the jeep to mak...

I wonder if the Gates SAS jeep is the same as the Solido SAS jeep?...i've only ever seen the Solido one.. Anyway, if you want specifically diecast there is Gates, Soldo and UT Models (which is Paul's Model Art). I'm not sure it the UT comes with a machine gun but it's probably your best bet for a di...

From Fall Toy Fair. A Huey door gunner and a US DDay Ranger. Both beauties. I believe they have the Huey door gunner wearing his monkey harness....nice attention to detail.

Good observation Flayrah!
Should be easy to fix, if BBI doesn't catch it themselves for the production model. What a gaff to make though..

Where have you been? Under a rock?? We had a long discussion about these months ago....lol. :) Actually we did and i bought a bunch of them. They're nicely done but the chute packs and harnesses are molded on to them so they are limited in what you can do with them. Weapons, sculpts etc are very goo...

Hey Kimtrxd.....glad you found your way to our new home. The BBI sherman also has an engine (as seen in one of the pictures) and maybe (?) an interior? At any rate it's nice to see BBI finally get into WW2. With this and 21c's Panzer IV, truck and M113 we may at last be seeing a new stream of armour...

It's not like BBI is making this up. "Killer" was the logo on the side of this particular P-51. That's just the way it was. It's nowhere near as offensive as a swastika and i think that most, if not all of us want swastikas on our german planes. Not because we idolize nazism and all that it stood fo...

i have a feeling it's supposed to be some futuristic tank to go along with those bizarre futuristic soldier figures, including the one with the mace windu head. The turrret isn't off of the tank, it's set at the back of the tank and where the tank turret would normally be is a recessed hatch. The wh...

'Killer' was a popular nickname back in the 40's which is why it was probably adopted for this pilot's particular plane. Just watch any gangster/action/boxing movies from the late 30's and early 40's and you'll undoubtedly hear somebody call someone 'killer'. As in 'hey Killer, take it easy now'. It...
