i think a desert version is 100% guaranteed to follow at some point. A VERY obvious repaint given that there were early G's in North Africa and that the F and G are very similar in appearance.

And we all know how 21c loves their repaints. :)

failing that you can try the traders forum, maybe you have something that's available in europe that can be traded over here for a winter tiger. Also, try ebay, they should be getting cheap on there. Shipping could be a bit high as this thing is diecast and noticably heavier than the earlier version...

hmm.....not bad. Not my top pick for a paint scheme but as i will probably be getting several of these it's nice to have variety. Shouldn't be too hard to back date this G to an F model if a desert scheme one comes out (which i suspect it will....Jochim Marsielle anyone?.....(yeah i know i spelled i...

Personally i just don't see the appeal of a fantasy military line. If it was even based on real designs that just never did/will never see the light of day then at least that would hold some interest. I can sit around all day designing fantastic looking tanks, guns, planes etc that have no practical...

This is a great thread. I remember a while ago there was a thread on GP's board titled 'what does SHE think of it?' which was asking everyone to relate how their wives. girlfriends. signif. others etc viewed our hobby. That was a great thread too. :) Mondaytanker: just as a heads up, in case you don...

a nice surprise indeed, Ski! Now we just need some other members, besides you and me, to post about it....lol. M113's are like rifles and motorcycles to me......they all look the same. I think there were three different paint schemes shown at the Fall Toy Show, were there not?...and i think one was ...

Paging all M113 experts: From the pictures you've seen of the 21c M113 (at toy shows etc), is it more accurate as a Vietnam era M113 or a modern day M113 and what major differences would their be between the two?

Holy Cow!! I had no idea these would be out so soon! What colour, how many figures? Pictures if possible please.

(This bodes very well for a release of the Panzer IV sooner rather than later..and maybe the truck too!)

it wasn't shown at the Feb. toy show either and except for a brief scare, is still planned, as far as we know. The new 109G wasn't shown either and i have no doubt it's coming soon. It's more likely that they need whatever examples they have of these planes for work to be done on them and don't want...

i don't want them to do it: a) cause i think it's gong to bomb and thereby have the exact opposite effect that you described ie they will lose money and make less 1/18 stuff as a result. b) because i feel it will detract from their efforts to make more 1/18 wwii and modern stuff. They only have so m...

That's a great tip USCGSARdog.....i'm going to try it. Even if every year or two they had to be reheated and rebent that is no big deal, and maybe they will stay permanently!

Thanks for the input everyone! :)

that one looks brownish but i just figured it was the lighting.... It's not the North Africa version i was referring to.

I was referring to COED. It's a north africa sherman, if i'm not mistaken.

the u/c leaves a lot to be desired  But otherwise it's not bad The size difference is negligable and it has a clear canopy....would make a pretty nice in flight display piece for sure. Now....how to find ordinance for it  It's very tempting but i have a strong hunch we will see one either...

Droopy Apache rotor

The blades on my Apache are getting pretty droopy. I've got it hanging as if in flight, so they shouldn't be drooping at all; in fact they should be somewhat elevated. Anyone have a simple fix for this? I can crazy glue thin wire to the underside of each blade to add support but that's going to look...
