I'm not sure who did the poll on buying online and buying from retailers, but this serves as a perfect example of prices...When have you ever seen the regular price of XD above $70...I cant understand why walmart can sell them at $39.95 and sometimes on sale for $15...Then we see $71 -30% plus shipp...

Enough fighting gentlemen, they are all great planes...But only if they make them in 1:18...Last I heard the EAM B-17 Kit was going for about $350 bucks...and the B-29 is no longer available on their site...I saw some B-52 plans on EBay for about $15.00 bucks...Has anyone seen that 8 jet engine RC B...

Thats sort of the project that im thinking of attempting, the EAM B-17...But I built a 1:48 B-29 as a kid and thought it would be awsome to have a 1:18 B-29...That Spruce Goose is HUGE...Thanks for the help guys...

Thats what I figured, i was just making sure...I keep seeing all these plans for RC planes, and they have large wingspans but I wanted to see how similar close they are to 1:18 scale...Not sure if anyone has attempted to build one from scratch...

Hey mightymustang, thanks for all the great info on the BBD, I wish I had all that info about my grandfather and the things he did back in WWII... I know that he was a maintenance pilot and used to fly the planes after repairs to see if they were war ready, but other than that I don't really know mu...
