Re: New Aircraft Projects For 2023
Hey Dannyc! As far as jets go, that F4 Phantom was not a bad idea! I have always loved that plane due to how insanely loud that thing is at the air shows, and I would definitely buy one if one ever popped up. As far as my ultimate favorite jets that I would pay GOOD money for, those would be the A-1...

Re: New Aircraft Projects For 2023
I am a WWII fan mainly, and am STILL firm on us needing WWII RUSSIAN PLANES! That said, here are some suggestions below. RUSSIAN FIGTHERS: Bell P-39 Airacobra (Boss, but not Russian made - Benefit is that it made many top Russian aces) (~10,000 made) Yak9 (The best Russian made fighter - EPIC!) (~16...

Re: More First Time Builds
That Firefly in German colors is very nice looking! Are the molds for the top only, or the entire tank, or just the turret? I have never sat down to compare the differences between a Firefly and a regular Sherman, but thought I read years ago that it was only the gun and turret that was different?

Re: A Question for Picklehaube
Yes! The P-39 Airacobra gives us our first Russian WWII fighter finally! They did very well in this plane. My all time Russian favorite though is the Yak-9. So badly wish someone was interested in making that one. It was the best Russian fighter they produced.

That Prince of Persia set is pretty cool! Buildings were always a problem with1:18, , so stuff like that can be helpful.

Nope! The stupid forum message system constantly says they are on hold! Absolutely ridiculous. Did you see mine going your way? I am not sure who to contact to get it fixed either unfortunately. I think Pickle messaged me 6mon to a year ago probably and I couldn't read his either.

Grunt1, you still making this kit? I tried contacting you, and it seems like you responded back, but it says I am not authorized to read your message while it is on "hold"? Never seen that yet on here.
I would like to get one of these M3s.
Let me know, and thank you

Hey Grunt, I am the guy who talked to you about maybe giving me access to simply update some photos and add maybe some stuff you didn't have. It's been so long now, I can't remember what was missing, but I have a massive collection and have at least a few that you don't have (like the P51 with the n...

Re: What does the wife really think about 18th ?
Lol, these stories are hilarious, so I will share mine. My wife has definitely had some mixed feelings about my collections of random "crap" she isn't into (star wars stormtrooper uniform, various wwii uniforms, two large G scale and HO scale train collections, a 70mm German figure collection and my...

Re: Tempest Project 1/18
Excellent as a "future" idea, BUT ONLY AFTER YOU BUILD a P-39 Airacobra, Yak-9, and or Ilyushin Il-2!!!
Those are such hugely produced WWII planes, and would offer some great German opposition planes!!!
ME-163 would be cool to have in production again...
After that, produce the obscure Tempest?

Re: What Is the Most Wanted Aircraft Project ?
I don't know how old this is, but I was looking for someone building a P-39 Airacobra, and did a search, and ran across this request list. I thought we did this before in another post, but I want to dump my favorites here in order. 1. P-39 Airacobra 2. Yak-9 3. Ilyushin Il-2 4. ME-163 5. Mosquito Ho...

Re: 1/18 Scale M-4A3E8 The Easy 8 Info Needed On Tracks
Matthew, How do these install? Do they have any strength when installed (had a few tanks show up who's tracks were completely EXPLODED in shipping...one was ridiculously hard to get glued back together, but I got it done, and the other one I returned). But the one I fixed was fragile due to the tens...

P-39 Aircobra
I could have sworn a good 3-5 years back now there was someone in the 1:18 scale forum making a P-39 Aircobra? I might have mixed up another plane someone made. If anyone knows if this was made, and who made it, please chime in.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Oh yeah, very sweet! Nice job on those! But I still think you need to loosen up a little and share some of those figures, hahaha! The prices lately are so insane, they are $$30-45 EACH in some cases, I have never seen such a crazy hike for basically what is in my mind, a WWII version of a plastic St...

Probably stupid, but I have no idea what a place "card" is? Are you referring to custom stands for the F14s or something else?
What is the difference between the A and the B versions? I guess the generic as well.

Re: 1/18 DASSAULT RAFALE
Interesting endeavor. I could possibly be tempted. I have all the f18s minus the blue angels which has got to be the ugliest color blue they could have ever chosen. It was a paint over something else that sort of echo'd through, muddying the whole look and I just couldn't stand to look at it. I coul...
