That Heinkel is a masterpiece. The nose area of that kit was more than I wanted to tangle. Seems you handled it with ease!
Thank you.
I'd love to build another one in Russian winter scheme if I can find another kit for decent price.

Re: (One of) my last built of 2021

Looks great!!! I'd love to build a He111 but I just don't have the room to display it once it's done. Thanks. Perhaps you could hang it up like I did with mine. I plan to hang the other one up as well to save room. I thing they look quite nice in hanging mode :) https://i.imgur.com/0HGnmaT.jpg

Re: (One of) my last built of 2021

Thank you friends.
I built one in desert markings couple years ago. Below is the two together
Most markings of the desert scheme were also airbrushed using Montex mask

Re: (One of) my last built of 2021

Thanks C44.

Almost all markings were airbrushed including the swaszi. I used Montex masking for the canopy frames. I also added two pilots and photo-etched machine guns in this build.

Re: Yellowed BBI models

I have BBI F18, F16, F4, Zero and none have turned yellow so far. Of course I have them all hanging up in my basement with no sun light. I have no clue how to restore original color without repainting. My two merit F14s are display upstairs with a bit of morning sun but so far no yellowing at all. K...

I have K&C figures and FoV tanks in my collection, and most of them are ~1/28 scale and too large for 1/32 vehicles & tanks.

I too passed on the Black F18 Hornet because I just spent the money on the BK F14 a week before :) I am glad I have both versions at retail price. I also repainted the spots on the JR version, and added custom stands & pilots for both of them. Still have all original boxes just in case I need to unl...

Re: ebay JSI F14

I am glad I have both Tomcat versions at retail price. I have most of the 1/18 models that I want so it really does not matter to me if/when someone will make them again in future because I have no more room for the large scale planes.

Re: SBD on the Bench

That is an excellent build . I like it.
I could not handle the big scale (1/18) build due to my work space. My largest build is the 1/32 He-111.
What is the purpose of the dark "rectangular square" beside decal number "6" ?

It will be huge in 1/18. I wish I could afford it. 700 Euros is ~ $1000 CAN for a kit :)

Nice work as always, cnq, you give the Tamiya master builders a run for their money! Looking forward to seeing the completed Persian F14...not a typical choice, are you gonna do the desert camo? I'm sure it will come out looking good... Thanks. The Academy kit cost me $30 quid. I paid double for Ho...

It's an awesome 1/32 pre-built Tamiya F14. I could not even afford the kit itself let alone $1000 model  That's why I opted to build my own F14 but in smaller 1/48 My cheapo Academy BK F14 which I built last year https://i.imgur.com/OoeSBnO.jpg And just got the Hobby Boss kit also in 1/48 to ...
