Re: Custom Updates 9-30-12 !!!!!!!

Woots! Picked up a second Panther to bash into an ambush-pattern camoed one with infrared scope, but that's going for this upgrade instead. So I will need another Panther. I fear I will end up with more tanks than the German Army had in all of WWII. :D Allow me to add my THANK YOU here too, Matthew....

Re: 1/18th Panther F/ II Production Started !!!

Almost all of the orders are filled but there is a minor problem. I forgot to make moulds for the exhaust stacks   . So this could delay things. If you guys want I can pack and ship what I have and mail the exhaust stacks and antenna in a envelope. Let me know what you guys want to do. ...

Re: Aviatonut Interview with Tony at Merit on Future of 1:18

i'm afraid it's just going to be a repaint of the 21c one....they may have bought/leased the molds from JSI or Allgo. I hope i'm wrong. A Huey D i'm all over. I fear a repaint too. But I would like it to be a UH-1N model. Hoping and praying. And chopper pilots on card please since I am already on m...

The powdery stuff cleaned up real good under warm water and a paint brush, Grunt1. Letting the part dry before applying paint.

Re: Battleground Toys 1:18 Vampir IR

Yes, wash it with warm water and it will clear up any of the residue. For the most injection molded like material the ultra detail is the best choice. I recently ordered three of the vampirs, one in each material so I can take some pictures and try to show the differences. Thanks Grunt1. I will giv...

Re: Battleground Toys 1:18 Vampir IR

The Vampir came in today. The casting is good and detailed. But the material has a powdery texture, so the piece of equipment looks like it has had an accident in a flour factory. :-) What Shapeways material should I opt for if I want something close to the injection-moulded pieces that come in plas...

Flak panzer IV Mobelwagen. Pz IV chassis with four slab armoured sides that folded down, with the gun mounted in the centre, if memory serves me correct. Got to check if the gun is the same, though. The four- barrel flak gun was also used. And they even had an 88mm gun in a similar configuration. As...
