Re: More FOV for 2012!!!

In Canada, after taxes, your average FOV. tank comes out to about $75. What are the prices like in the states, after taxes?

Re: So, I was considering crossing over into some 1/35...

Well..............did you go for any of the above suggestions? This week I'm buying the Brit. VOSPER 1/35 T.P. boat and I ordered the 1:32 B-25 Mitchell Bomber. Two BIG kit's, some epic builds!

Re: More FOV for 2012!!!

Heart breaking! The least they could do, is include some exciting new figure sculpts. Some Waffen SS or Winter camo. in battle poses. That would be enough to get me to go for it. If their so into re-paints, they should try re-painting the figures also!

Re: 21st v. FOV Opel

I hate to break it to you, but the 21st Cent. version is closer to 1:35 and the FOV. version is more of a true 1:32. Because of this, I have always been suspicious of 21st Cent. last big wave of stuff. I always felt it was a little undersized, but with nothing to compare them to. The HERTZER, both M...

Re: A Polish 7TP Tank in 1:43rd Scale

I have the 7-TP and the Polish TANKETTE, BUT they are in 1:35 scale. I find the Polish campaign to be an interesting subject that is quite often overlooked. Hell, I even made a nice squad of 1:32 polish infantry and artillery. If only I knew how to share my photos.

YES, I agree. Go "BIG" and you will never tell the difference. I have that kit also, Trumpeter, is my favorite! BIG kits, well designed, good detail and GREAT SUBJECTS! NO ONE can touch DRAGONS 1:35 Figure kits though.

Re: So, I was considering crossing over into some 1/35...

EXCITING SUBJECT! Sorry boys, I have to get in on this one! First off, look at the size differences between the 1:32 FOV. & 21st Cent. JAGD TIGERS? How about the difference between the FOV. and 21st. OPEL Trucks? BIG difference! Pretty much, enough to say is the difference between 1:32 & 1:35. All m...

Re: * New FoV Chaffee *

I ONLY buy "FOV" when it can be justified. #1. If it has NOT been released yet. #2. If it is a DIFFERENT version, early or late war. ZIMMERATE counts. #3. If it is a REAL IMPROVEMENT upon it's predecessor. Good example, FOV Germ. "HALFTRACK" of FOV "TIGER II" over 21st CENT. The "CHAFFEE" sits 50/50...

Re: Tamiya 1/35 vs Dragon 1/35 Poll/Discuss

In truth "MASTERBOX" has the best figure sculpts in the business. The secret to 1:35 figure kits, is to NOT follow the instructions. Build your own awesome battle poses. I'm an artist so it comes easy for me, it's too bad I don't know how to post photos because the figs. I build would make you run t...

Are you asking, WHO MAKES BETTER ARMOR? TAMIYA is great because, they are a little more simplified than DRAGON. No nonsense. Dragon is too obsessed with over engineering everything! I bought a DRAGON "PANTHER" once, I had to connect every link to the track, what a pain in the ass! Not to mention, th...

Re: * New FoV Chaffee *

Thanks for posting the comparison shots, it really was the DEAL BREAKER for me. I wish FOV. would be aware that 21st Cent. Chaffee's are a dime a dozen and their new version is not enough of an improvement to justify buying it. An interesting observation though, The FOV chassis is much longer than i...

Hopefully it's not true. Competing for the same small market could have been avoided, if companies would announce their intentions just a little earlier. There are so many good subjects to cover, without being redundant. Comparable alternative : The "ARADO 234 BLITZ" Germ. Jet Bomber. Plastic General
