Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

That is insanely sweet work on the IS-2. Congratulations on your talent and patience! You didn't get around to fixing the suspension problems? I'm a fan of the ISU-152 + ISU-122 combo hit, so no IS-2 for me. It's enough work trying to turn them into WWII era versions. Maybe you should include the in...

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

You might want to add info to size-but-not-scale matched stuff.
Pretty helpful to know what you're getting...

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

So the Bandai PzIV chassis is too narrow, I didn't know that. That indeed makes the Hummel more like 1/32. Yeah, I know the 21st Panzer IV is pretty enormous. I see what you mean by matching size to them. If you're going to use that logic you should add the Ogonek offerings as well. They made A KV-8...

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

You might have a 'falsely rumored to be 1/32' for items that have been dismissed.

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

35009 is the old mold, as can be seen here: http://www.whybee.co.uk/tamiya/images/35009_03.JPG Someone needs to confirm, I don't own the kits, but the following should be correct: The Bandai Hummel is not 1/32, it's just built on the wrong chassis. They built it on their Panzer IV chassis, which is ...

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

I'm saying the pieces that are falsely advertized as 1/32 would be better presented separately from those that can pass for 1/32.

35009 is not vintage or motorized as such, but it's still the same kit.
It's just fabricated at a later date and not including the motor parts.

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

I was talking about the Tamiya 35009 kit.

If you're going to include pieces that are 1/32 fakes they really should go in their own "scam" category.

Re: Lesser Known 1/32 Offerings

I have the CTS Churchill. Lovely model but the scale is army men 1/40 style. Very small. It really should not be on the list. The Frontline Churchill is the correct length but very tall and wide. I'm not sure if it is correct for that version, but it looks very strange, especially the height. The Ta...

Re: Forces of Valor 1:32 February NEW RELEASES

If there's more american trucks to be made I'd like to see a Studebaker so we could see some Katyushya.

What's new tool about that old Blitz anyway, a few boards?
I'd like to see them do a bit less of the same stuff 21st Century already put out.

Re: New FoV 1:32 2012 (with pics!)

Unfortuately the Chaffee is one of the few US vehicles I'll never spend money on. I only get the ones that made it to Russia under lend lease. Seeing as they like to do licensed GM stuff I think they should put out a DUKW. That would sell, plus they could do the truck it was based on using the wheel...
