I've listed a box of 80 of these on eBay if anyone's interested
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161215590273
All unopened, so I don't know which ones there are, but there's bound to be a few of the "rare" ones too if my experiences of opening other boxes are anything to go by.

Are you sure? All of the other ones in my collection have a W2 on the bustle, as do all of the photos of this model I can find on the web.AMERICAN_GRENADIER wrote:they all came that way

Re: Misprinted Dragon Armor Sherman Firefly
.......... not sure but I'd hang on to it anyways. * Not being impolite but what would the "W2" stand for ??? ... + is it that significant ? I have no idea! Would be interested to know what the W and G also mean. I gather they are markings that were painted on it after being captured by the Germans...

Misprinted Dragon Armor Sherman Firefly
Anyone else seen a Dragon Armor 60259 captured Firefly like this? They forgot to print the white "W2" on both sides of the radio bustle.
Does that make it super-rare and valuable, or does it just make it worth less?

FS: 1/72 Dragon Armor tanks (UK)
I've put some of my 1/72 Dragon Armor tanks on eBay with £0.01 starting bids if anyone's interested. Shipping to the US would be about £10 via Airmail, £7 to Europe, and £3.50 within the UK for a single tank. Re: 1:1 scale tank parts
The phosphoric acid in the diet cola seems to have worked reasonably well for the Panzer IV track link. I just wiped it off with a ball of aluminium foil and the metal coloured stuff appeared as if by magic. There are some hard scaley bits on the Panzer II track, though, so I think I'll have to chip...

Just for something slightly different, here's a picture I took earlier this month. You may notice that the landscape is actually made out of a person covered in grassy bits(!)

Re: 1:72 builds
It could look better with a bit of weathering, which would also tone down the glossy appearance. Don't ask me how to do that, though - the last time I tried it on a kit, it made it look worse than when I started

wtb 1/6 tank tracks
I'm after some 1/6 scale tank tracks that I can use for some ad hoc appliqué armor. Does anyone have any they want to sell, or can someone direct me towards a cheap source? Tracks for a Panzer II, Panzer III or Sherman would be ideal, but I might consider more exotic alternatives if I can't find any...

Estimated for arrival in April 2012, here's Dragon Armor's second Churchill in 1/72. Looks good, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who just wants them to make one in green already!

Want to buy/sell/swap 1:72 Dragon Armor or 1:144 tanks? (UK)
I've already got a few hundred 1/72 Dragon Armor and Hobby Master tanks, plus a similar amount of Cando and Takara WTM tanks in 1/144 scale - BUT - I have a craving for more! :) There are some gaps in my collection, so I was wondering if anyone else in the UK (or maybe Europe) has any tanks that the...

Re: 1:72 builds
I have always wanted to give the 1:72 "Armourfast" range a go, seems some of their kits are simpler than others and I can skip to the best part, the painting. They're certainly simpler, but it does show a bit on some of the models - particularly the tracks and wheels, which are usually one-piece pa...
