A different spin but the same conclusion. God, I wish I could get my hands on a 1:18 A-10.

Re: Quad .50s in Vietnam

My daddy drove deuce and a halfs in Nam. I'll have to ask him if he saw or drove ones with quad guns the next time I see him. I know he normally drove food, ammo, or fuel to the front lines from the rear and he was a constant target, still having those traumatic nitemares to this day.

You are better off sending it back and getting another, Granch. If you melt the tail, they might not take it back.

Re: AllGo is all go!

I understand the desire for new planes and tanks. However, if Algo doesn't sell these introductory pieces, there will never be any new toolings from this source in any scale. The community needs to get behind Algo now, rather than stomping their feet and locking-up. Blah blah blah blah blah blah bl...

I am happy for you and anyone else that are finacially well off so that you don't have to worry about living on a budget or use cupons like so many families have to. Wrong, but exactly the reaction expected. The Wal Mart customer demographic differs significantly from that of the typical collector....

Re: All-Go announces 1/32 aircraft releases

Yes, I do. I thought they were barely worth $20 even then. I did buy several of them but they are absolutely not a $40 item. And I know thats only my opinion. 1:32 and 1:18 collectibles are perfect for a low-volume niche market. TRU and Wal Mart hijacked the niche for their own selfish gains, remad...

Re: Two Modern Birds after the BF-109.

"Modern Birds" could also mean one of several helicopters BBI made in 1:18 scale.

I'd vote for an Aggressor schemed F/A-18C as a first choice w/an airforce F-4 in 1:32 a close second.

I doubt we'll see any new tools anytime soon but there's always hope.

Welcome to 1:32 club Corgi, Matt!

I wish more pieces were available in this scale. The Mosquito FB version has been preordered for over a year and I'd give my right boot for that one.

Re: All-Go announces 1/32 aircraft releases

Would like to support AllGo, but I already have both Red 19, and Shangri La P-51, so I will be passing on these, unfortunately. I understand their need to raise some capital, and hopefully these popular models will do well enough for them to release other schemes. If they release something that I d...

I'll buy everything they want to release that's a new paint scheme . Bingo !!!!!!! Most collectors in a hobby prefer a variety instead of buying the same product over-n-over. It makes as much sense to me as going to see the same crappy movie 2,3,4 times, just to support the theater. I understand th...

jsi went overboard, but the f-14 turned out to be a POS when it came down to quality of craftsmanship What? Have you fallen from your camel and hit your head? All the more reason to sell BOTH show birds that'll definately sell great to many kids (boys or girls) throughout the nation's many airshows... --------- I think BBI should provide the decals for the BAs that actually tour and include the names of a number of pilots who have flow the birds over the...

I haven't seen any post that agrees with the "get your money from Paypal" exit that occurred when Skyworks was closed. I hope is that the number of people affected and the amount of money involved, is small. At this point, there are no hordes of folks posting "I sent Skyworks $xxx and never received...

Good points, Corey. Algo seems much more worried about what they're not getting instead of spending positive energy to produce something that will sell.

Re: Skyworks....important information

I purchased both VF-84 and VF-154 pilots from Skyworks, along with two sets of F-14 metal main landing gear legs and replacement cans. I thought the work was impeccable. The owner seemed to be one of those grouchy, quirky, creative genius types when I spoke to him on several occasions but he was alw...

Re: Pirated 21CT...that many?

Algo must have one hell of a sales rep. On Monday, retailers, distributors, and etailers are threatened by Algo with legal and criminal action for selling anything JSI produces, claiming they own the rights to old 21st toolings. On Tuesday, these same vendors are asked to buy and promote Algo goods,...

So let's see... 21st gets in a bind, doesn't pay its bills and the Chinese manufacturers seize their molds and unshipped stock. There was something going around about a death but who knows if that was true or just an excuse to shut the doors and rip ...
