Re: How to create your own 1/18 model aircraft

Jon i saw on the walmart website a product call composimold. It is a re-usable rtv. It is perfect for this sort of project. We all hate to use large quantities of expensive rtv for one time use and then the mold goes to waste, Also if something goes wrong the expensive rtv goes to waste, however com...

Re: 1/18 Figure Joints

I seen on the internet like 3 years ago a guy that build clothes for his custom 3 3/4" GI Joe figures. The clothes hide the articulation and the cloth color vs shiny plastic clothes made the figure more realist. The only thing i didn't like is that the clothes look bulky because he use figures that ...

Re: My Conversation with A Merit Rep Regarding 1/18th Scale

I had a bbi f16 at one time which i paid $75 on ebay from a private owner. I don't collect airplanes at the moment, the point is that many of us can not afford to pay $200 for a aircraft but i rather have Merit make it so maybe on the future we can find a used one on ebay for $100 bucks. The 1/18 sc...

Re: 1/16 tanks

By looking at the last picture looks like there is plenty of room on the back seats for the figures legs compared to my 21st century kubelwagen.
I curious to see how the 1/18 scale figures fit.
Thanks for the pictures, i think this is what i need for my figures.

Re: Anyone got a 1/16 king Tiger from Trumpeter?

I assume you are building interior for a 1/16 jagdtiger. If you are casting complete interiors for it or any tank let me know, i might need interior for some of my models. I heard trumpeter will release soon a panzer IV with interiors. You should consider casting that engine too. It can be used on t...

Re: The need to have versus the ability to display

I think we all have the same problem. I took measurements of one of my closets and bought bookshelf's. The bookshelf fit right in and closet doors can be open to display collection or close. I had to make the hard choice of selling the repaints to get other stuff in. At first it was hard but since i...

Re: Merit International Public Modeling Forum

I tough Merit decided to not produce any more 1/18 when they mention the nail on the coffin comment. I hope the website is mostly 1/18 scale. And i hope they concentrate their effort on producing new toys and the website don't distract them from that goal. I guess what i am trying to say is that we ...

Re: 1/16 tanks

Holy crap in a hat on that FAMO. Wow. That has to be insanely expensive. Price is 600€ fully builded. That means around $800USD. It's expensive but is ready to be made RC and is a real piece of art. I plan to paint it but I have to admit I hesitate as I think it could be a kind of crime for such a ...

I got my Jagdtiger a couple of weeks ago. This is the biggest one ever yet. Thanks for the kit. I am glad to see this project went good and in less time than the Horten and King tiger. You should consider making new molds for sd kfz 222 and maybe do the 221 and 223 variations while at it. Maybe in a...

Re: OURWAR WW2 Germans on the way to US!

To me the most disappointment was that the company didn't produce the long sleeve infantry man shown on the prototype versions. I guess some one tough the Popeye fore arms versions was way more cool.

I will still get one set or maybe two. The articulation and weapons are really a plus.

I have been thinking about getting this motorcycle to display my figures. I already have Pikelhaube sidecar with the Indiana Jones German motorcycle.
