Re: Hetzer!!
The Hetzer and Stewart are two good little tanks good to collect in this scale. If i was collecting 1/6 figures this is the kind of tank i would have displayed next to the Germans. A Tiger or Panther would be too big. And yes,i tough i was going to see a 1/18 Hetzer.LOL I can see you also collect 1/1...

Re: British 25 pounder
The only British thing i have in my 1/18 collection is a Sherman firefly and a WWII British paratrooper made by Dusty Trails. I always wanted British armor or artillery specially since i have so much U.S. and German anyways. If the figures are made, interest will be double. We need more British and R...

Re: Battleground Toys 1:18 Puma - Updated 3-23
I was just curious about one thing it pop in to my mind  Is it possible to scan with the 3d printer scanner a 1/35 scale Puma and produce it in 1/18? I am asking because i imagine that big company's already went trough this sort of proses and those models may already be made as thin possible i...

Re: Battleground Toys 1:18 Puma - Updated 3-23
If the thickness has been thinned 3 to 4 times less than the original,i guess the cost will be greatly reduce from the $1,000 originally production cost was going to be. Thinning will also work good in case things go to plan B(casting in resin) I remember pikelhaube had to reduce the thickness of th...

That may be one of the reasons why there is not many King Tigers today in museums.Just like real tigers in extinction.Collectors buy this for there private collections. It is a good investment if is worth more.It will probably by worth more in the years to come as museums may have to settle to buy th...

Re: Ever just freaking lose interest in your stuff?
I only had the feeling to sell all my 1/18 collection when i see all the new stuff in 1/16 coming out recently.Of course,if i sell it one day i will spend the money on 1/16 WWII. My interest has been kept alive thanks to those 1/18 resin kits steadily produced by Pickelhaube,Battle ground toys, the H...

I am interested since day one. The 1/16 community has one on the works as a RC model. I heard that it will cost $700!! That is one of the reason why i stay in 1/18 scale. $300.00 is Ok with me based on what the cost of my 1/18 222 armor car.this one is bigger. Keeping the cost down is important. The...

Re: FOV will no longer make 1/18 WWII figures
That wave of German and U.S. soldiers run for quite a few years.Maybe it was time for them to sell something new.I remember they stop making the Bradley and Abraham for a short time, and all the sudden they where back in stores. It is sad that people get offended by a regular German soldier. They thin...

Re: What WW 2 Armor Series Should Be Next ? Or E-10 full Bui
The Hetzer seems to me like is a full build.I want a Hetzer, but if we are talking about kits for building a tank using a 21st century toys tank,i will like the Sturmtiger.
It is hard to choose when all the tanks we are discussing here has been on our wish list for so many years.

Re: Bridges for 1/18 scale
The bigger 10" wide bridge seems to me is the better choice.Because the widest tank in 1/18 is the tiger and it measures 8" wide.I imagine that the bridge is measure from the outside.the the actual maximum crossing with will be 8"-9" It looks big, but for those of you who bolt shelf's to the wall to...

Re: Littlebird history question
Helicopters are not that fast so aerodynamically, the doors will not make much of a difference. Also the doors are pretty light and provide no protection(at least from bullets) On the other hand a Apache helicopter has very powerful engines that allow it to carry heavy bulletproof glass and is even ai...

If he puts negative, you can still write a short explication of your side of the story right under his negative.there is not enough room to explain in details but it helps. Also i beleive the negative will be only for one year, after that its gone for good. I have seen some good realistic grass mats.I think it was on buildorama.com I have seen on youtube tutorials on how to make that grass that buildorama sells. Re: Signature 1/18 Mercedes 770K
I have one.The only disappointment i had, just like every other 1/18 diecast vehicle, the figures will not fit by any means.but even then i keep it because the fact that was so detailed and figures can still be displayed next to it. They also make a hardtop limousine version, which sell for less, but i ...

Re: 1:18 figures Help
I have use a small screw, and i cut the head on one side to make it a double sided screw..I drill holes on both sides that will be attach so the screw can go in more easy.
I use it many times and every time i swap a head on a figure that does not have the peg.

One thing about the tarp cover. There does not seem to be a lot of interest in the ambulance. But with the tarp cover. You can convert any 251 to an ambulance ( most of them had the covers to protect the injured ). Pop the cover on paint red crosses on the side . BAMM... instant ambulance . ...

2 years and we are still waiting for something new in 1/18 while 1/16 gets new stuff all the time.I know pickle makes good armor and everything else, but there are many things we wont ever see in 1/18 like for example the elephant tank, panzer III.For now i start mixing scales in what is not and will ...
