The also had a 4" figure line I hadn't seen before —can't remember the name— but they were officially licensed modern USMC figures. Four diff. figs sold in two packs or as singles with a small wall/fortification or an ATV. They were basically new sculpt Chap Mei figs - they had some accessories tha...

Re: Is there any demand for spare 1/18th parts?

I know you guys are mostly vehicle, or more specifically aircraft oriented, but I would love to get some extra stuff for my figures. I could really use extra arms, and more importantly, hands for my 1/18 scale soldiers from both 21st and Unimax brand figures. Part of the reason why I like to say the...

apparently some Dollar Generals are getting GI Joe figures. The new figures of Duke cold be the basis of a decent 1/18 custom with some work I guess. I'm not sure how you guys feel about those sort of things.

I don't think there is much coming out this year that would be to this forums liking. Maybe the Power Team Elite stuff at Big Lots will have something interesting in the fall but I don't think Hasbro will be impressing any of us much.

Re: what was the first

the first thing I got was back in the winter of 2007. I was patrolling Wal-Mart for GI Joe and Star Wars stuff when I happened upon the coolest thing ever. 1/18 scale WWII soldiers. The first one I bought was the Battle of the Bulge German Private with a trench coat and armed with an STG 44 for five...

Re: FOV will no longer make 1/18 WWII figures

I wish they'd make new WW2 stuff, like German Half-Track or Panzer IV, or maybe a Hell-Cat tank destroyer and a new WW2 action figure line. Unfortunately there is apparently no market for it so that will never happen.

My 1/18 Japanese Imperial Army Officers left arm broke off in a spectacularly weird way. I just stuck some sticky tact up in there and stuck the arm back on.

Re: New 1:18 repaints soon!

Since I was late on the whole 1/18 collecting game, I completely missed out on ALL Aircraft. All I managed to get was an Admiral Toys ME-262 White 8 Nowotny on Ebay for $40 a few years ago, so I could actually use a P-51 to match it. If it's not over $100 I'll convince a family member to get it for ...

Re: New Bravo Team Modern 1:18 Figures (sort of)

The Target stores in Lexington KY still have spaces open for them, although only one of them actually had any. I picked up the last two figures there, I'm rather pleased to find that their joints aren't horrendously tight and snap when you move them anymore.

can anybody find or post some images of the Hooben T-55 next to some scale 1/18 figures? That kind of a product is a bit ritzy for my tastes but if I can convince a family member to get it for me as a birthday or Christmas gift and I'd really like to see what it looks like with any kind of figure ne...

Re: 88 gun elevation, how do?

Jnewboy (Jon) did a great job on my 88 and I really love it. It arrived here in Australia in perfect condition. I still dont know why the manufacturer didn't make it in colours other than the Africa Korps one, as I am sure they would have sold a lot more if painted in Normandy colours. that's just ...

Re: 88 gun elevation, how do?

ahah! I got it to elevate! It just required a little bit of leverage from the right spot. I'm surprised that the cannon elevating feature is rather jerky due to the "teeth" Parrish was talking about. I thought it was stuck because I assumed the cannons elevating feature would be alot more smooth. Ho...

88 gun elevation, how do?

So my brother in law got me a DAK tan 21st toys 1/18 88mm flak cannon for Christmas. The amount of detail is so overwhelming on this thing that I found the instructions on how to unhinge the stationary cannon from the carriages confusing. What are those arrows even pointing at?! I know the box says ...
