Re: Nice Model

The note in the photographs refers to the real Heinkel 219 being built in 1943, not the model, the seller misunderstood it.
If not, then it's a highly detailed model of the UHU built in the first year it first flew on combat operations (June 1943)

Re: Holy Grail found....

The seller has both the Australian P-51s listed at the same selling price, plus both a Marauders and Black F-18 Hornets - all appear to be 'top dollar' although there does seem to be a 24 month payment plan available... Glad I got these when prices were a bit more reasonable. (The Hornets, Not the M...

Re: anyone purchased from anticsonline.com before?

That's more of a Northern thing, in the South West, We live off Cornish pasties and cream tea.
Last things I bought from them were the 1/32 Revell Hunter, Mosquito and Beaufighter which they had on offer for about $18 each...worked for me...that was the smell of a bargain.

Re: anyone purchased from anticsonline.com before?

Hello Antics are my local brick and mortar store and they certainly aren't a rogue outfit. Over the years I have bought numerous items from their stores, also off the website and their mobile stand at local air shows. I know that being in the UK the way I trade with them is different from you, but a...

Re: Does anyone make a 1/32 jagdpanzer iv?

Thanks, I couldn't leave it as it was - wouldn't it be too big even to stand next to 1/32?

I'm working on the 1/30 Hummel now.

I don't think there is a Dragon Armour 1/35 Jagdpanzer.
They released several versions of Tiger I, Tiger II, Elefant, Panther and the S.P. mortar

Re: Does anyone make a 1/32 jagdpanzer iv?

If you mean the largest of the three, that's been built from the 1/30 Bandai kit which is very rare. It's going to need some TLC. It's got a Panther style tool rack either side of the fighting compartment plus what looks like a tube for gun cleaning rods, I'm not sure if they were supplied in the or...

Assuming this is going to be released, I look forward to adding it to my collection.
Excluding the heavy silver chipping on the o.d. I like the toned down colors

We also have toy and train fairs - agree they can be a good hunting ground - I always pay a bit more to go in on an early bird ticket to beat the masses and get to go through stock as the traders are putting it out.

Here are a couple of shots to compare panzer IV hulls in three scales. (Sorry they aren't all the same vehicle, these were the first I picked out and they haven't been through the paint shop yet.) 1/35 Panzer IV, 1/32 Stug IV, 1/30 Jagdpanzer Lang; http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/MADSAM197/...

Re: ANOTHER LARGE UNIT OF 1/35 VEHICLES

I was actually looking out for unbuilt kits and found these listed as the last lots in a model railroad auction 30 miles away.
Once the railroad lots were sold there was a mass exit, leaving just me and the auction staff.

Re: Does anyone make a 1/32 jagdpanzer iv?

Agreed - There is the Monogram 1/32 Lang but that's a rare kit.
Bandai did the 1/30 version also now very rare - you can see a built one in the collection I just got - it's way bigger than the Monogram 1/32 Panzer IV variants I got at the same time.

ANOTHER LARGE UNIT OF 1/35 VEHICLES

Got these yesterday, nearly 100 - mainly German softskins, including nine Opel Blitz and Maultiers. Also a couple of old 1/30 Bandai - Hummel, Lang and Nashorn (missing gun) several 1/32 tanks. Quite a few to go through the paint shops... FIRST - AN OVERVIEW http://i1351.photobucket.com/albums/p790/...

Re: FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

Thanks for the reply Jim@Merit To be fair, I do prefer the ex 21st 262 as I think it has the better looking fuselage profile but would be happy with either - and there are loads of colour schemes to pick from. Also as far as 109G6 - I'd welcome a return of the G6 perhaps in the guise of 'The black t...

Re: FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

Hello Jim@Merit - I would like to ask - Does that mean you know that the '262 is the Admiral model, and the '109 will be the G6 ex 21st version? Regarding the Avenger, I too would prefer the 'wings fixed' option as I'm another one with TBF wings glued in position following hinge fails. (And again th...

Re: Current 1/32 kit builds

I asked about the Hornisse in case you weren't aware that when it was first released, the 6001 version of the kit had some pretty bad fit issues, one of which was the track wouldn't fit between the return rollers and the underside of the fenders and fighting compartment. It was the first in house 1/...

Re: Current 1/32 kit builds

You're moving on to the Dragon Elefant then..That's a far better kit - and the tracks are a lot less work than the Porsche Jagdtiger I see you also have, I've got one on the go at the moment, and they take an age..all those individual connector pieces.. Does looks realistic when done though. I see y...

Retailer says he thinks only one release for each of the four types.

I've E-mailed Flight Wing direct asking if they are able to give any more details of schemes and ETA.

Let you know if I get a response.

FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

While trying to sort the 'Man o War' P51 tail wing issue I had, I was informed that there are more Spring/Summer releases in the Flight Wing line - four different aircraft; Me262, BF109, MIG15 and TBF. I am now trying to find out if this means there will be four different color schemes for each airc...

The dash color is an easy fix if the windshield will come off to put some paint on. Re: New 1:18 Mustangs

Hello Gents I have a question for anybody who has purchased the 'Man O War' P51... The one I got has two tail wings with identical paint jobs, which means the green stripes are correct on the starboard side, but end up underneath on the port. Is this just on my example, or are they all like this? I'...
