Did you think they would come in at the old price points? That was never going to happen.
Reality bites!
Wasn't all that familiar with the more recent price points. Doing some research I see the increase isn't all that great. Hadn't bought anything in 1/32 in a long, long time.

Re: FOV rouses itself from slumber...!!!

$80 - $90...Whew...that seems like a lot but based on tariffs and Chinese production issues, it is what it is.

Great job on this!
Especially squeezing off those three quick photos as the jeep raced passed the VW. Not even blurred! 8)

Re: 1/16 tanks

Thanks Normandy. I'm not sure I have enough years left to do anything near that expansive. And that's assuming I don't end up on a ventilator with Covid19. Several of us seniors at the Museum joke about our Corsair project telling them to send photos of the completed restoration to the nursing home ...

Re: 1/16 tanks

I've watched it again trying to get motivated to do something other than sit around and sulk while listening to the doomsday news and press conferences from the governor all day and it worked though I'm still struggling. I scratch built a ladder for a 1/6 scale project I've been slowly working on an...

Re: 1/16 tanks

Just watched again. Lots I missed the first time through. The guy's an artistic genius. After a year I'd probably still be working on the rocks in the creek or the first couple of trees. Can't even imagine the wiring and devices that went into all the moving parts. Train guys would know that kind of...

Re: 1/16 tanks

I don't know if I feel inspired by that or totally defeated in my meager attempts. I see a mix of 1/18 in there but that's okay when there's depth and separation. I think OMG is the modern sentiment to be used. I've always considered a diorama as a freeze frame like a photo. A moment captured in tim...

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project

Order placed! I swore I wasn't buying any more 1:18 models until I built a few more of my backlog. I still have one of your Kets, a 222, Tiger II and Nathan's Komet to build, not to mention all my customs and repairs I have sitting around. I just couldn't pass up the good deal. Thanks! GEEEEZZ.... ...

Well Done! I have one with Beetle Bailey and "Sarg" removed from the seats.

Should those guys be smoking around that saucer? The other guy might want to don some protective eye wear too....

Re: What does the wife really think about 18th ?

Funny reading these responses 🙂 My wife isn’t the one I’m actually having problems with concerning my collection. I’m the one who is questioning what in the world I’m doing with so much stuff 🥴 My wife's been gone for 8 years now. She was like a rudder that kept me from straying off course. Now I'm...

Re: Custom Panther

And a couple more tanks from the same source. The one is an FOV version and could use an antenna and some accessories. Again, the schemes look like they're out of his imagination but could have existed I guess. The Kubel was that first attempt I made at a winter scheme with a dirty-up. Wasn't all th...

Custom Panther

I can't take credit for this one other than I added the spare road wheels and antenna mast. A semi-local gentleman does these for fun and then offers them for resale. I can't vouch for the paint scheme or colors to be accurate but since most photos are black and white and surely many Panthers went u...

W.I.P. Winter Tiger

In the cold winter months I tend to turn from aircraft to ground pounder stuff. Had a spare gray 1/18 21st c. Tiger so I decided to try a winter scheme mod. My first attempt was on another vehicle and didn't turn out too well. This is my second attempt at a winter snow scheme. Looked at many photos ...

Re: (Somewhat) New American Diorama figs

If you're looking for an honest opinion....No. Especially not for over $40. The molded on weapons look really bad. They look like someone painted some old green army men. They remind me of some of the poorly done, bulky 1/30 and 1/32 stuff.

Star Wars Combat Assault Tank

I'm not Star Wars savvy but I saw this in the Ollie's Outlet flyer. Looks to be about 1/18 scale. Most items at Ollie's are there because they are duds or mega-over produced so I don't know about this but thought I'd put it out there. I don't know who has an Ollie's in their area. We have 3 or 4 her...
