Re: Actual Scale of Johnny Lightning Military Trucks

I have about 70 of them plus some of the white lightning chase. The scale is what would fit in a 3" packing blister the same as what Hot Wheels and Matchbox does for 1/64 scale. So there is no actual scale comparison

Re: Subscription Series 1/72 Tanks

to answer your question - yes. One store had them with the models, another had them in the general toy aisle, and the third had them with the "boys toys" display at the front of the store

Big Lots in western PA put out at least part of this years PTE. I can recall 3 different Hummers and patrol vehicles, the bombed out building, and a bunch of the figures and accessories.

Model Power

I am guessing everyone knows Model Power went out of business earlier this year. The leftover inventory has started showing up at Ollies ( a regional discount outlet). The models are $3.99 and I saw 5 or 6 different planes. Those I remember are F-14 Puking Dogs, p-26 Peashooter, Polikarpov I-16, Fai...

Re: 1 32 Mitchell kit & a few other die-cast at low prices..

My B-25 kit from Bad Cat was not the clear version but the regular gray plastic (which is what I preferred). The box was retaped but everything inside was sealed and seemed to be present.

Thanks for the additional comments. After I posted this I did some more research and found the trumpeter F-8 was rated much more favorably than the A-7 Corsair. I talked my wife into getting me one as a gift. I have not started it yet as I am a little intimidated by the kit. I forgot about the 4D 1/...

Any comments or opinions on which company makes the better 1/32 F6F Hellcat , Hasegawa or Trumpeter (or some other company)? I figure I could get two kits for the price of one HM Hellcat diecast.
