AT, is probably a safe bet. But, I am so conflicted with who will do a better job. I think that 21st is a great company, but BBI makes better figures and AT makes more complex models. In other words I am totally perplexed. I have no idea on who should make this model. I think we are in a position wh...

In fact the wing does not fold at all on the SBD1/2/3/4/5 or A24.

It is a must have!

Didn't Mike from BBI hint at one a little while back?

I am sooooo excited!!!!! :D :D :D I have been waiting for this model ever since I preordered it from Small Blue Planet (which I unfortunately learned was owned by 21st Century Toys) :( However, is the detail as good as we should expect? I ask this because I know this model has been in production for...

TKO, Unfortunately, I have noticed that 21st has not mentioned any dates for delivery of their new releases. I read Jason's comments, on the other side of this forum, regarding confidentiality and whatever, but I think it is all bull%@*#. But I have noticed that 21st has not really mentioned an actu...

aferguson,

Like I said, I will not talk about this anymore. If my post reappears, after I personally edited it, without my consent, I will not be a happy camper. :D :x

The information about the avenger's delivery came from a Wallmart Toy Manager at one of their stores.

I edited it myself b/c I'm not sure if I got accurate information. It wouldn't be fair to say anything without accurate information, so this is the last I'll say about this.

Sorry, guys!

For all of us Avenger lovers, I was told that the Avenger was sent to Wal-Mart and we should see it by the 10th of next month on their shelves.

My input is that if you take Ebay out of the equation the smaller guys have a chance. Ebay is the Wallmart of the "ethernet." If evilbay is not willing to sell the products then they become that much more limited. Why, you may ask.... Well if the mass-retail will not sell the products and ebay will ...

TKO211, I think it is a paint master. If you look at the two different photos of the guns you will notice that one has the lines going to the back of the guns painted and not on the other. This model was being painted as they were taking photos! :) But I must say I cannot wait for this airplane to c...

I do not think any of us have stopped to think about the detriment BCA must have gone through with the Avenger. They have stated that they are willing to return the money spent on pre-orders. If you think about it, the pre-orders have been up for quiet awhile, I know I took advantage of it. I would ...

Hawkonevoodoo, Well spoken and now I completely understand your intentions. I would recommend putting your post in a large HM post at the top of the page. I Recommend, HM "Direct from the Source"

I personally would recommend that this site give HM a link in "Direct from the Source" so that we do not have to read or look at repetitive posts from Hawkonevoodoo. I am not trying to be rude, but his consistent posting of HM info is starting to highjack the 1:32 thread. I would hope this site woul...

With my 63 year old eyes, the panel lines on a 1:1 model are not visable from more then 100 feet away. I should not see panel lines on a 1:72 scale model at more then 5 feet away (and that is giving you about 4+ feet on the math.) I have seen the Stuka and I can see the panel lines from 40 feet away...

Go to their homepage and look on the left hand side, half way down, you will see a Pictures button. Click on that button and choose F-86E or ME 262 to view the photos.

I am not sure about it myself. I think it is about as significant as 21st Century's 104. I think these companies try and release paint schemes that are attractive and sellable. I for one think the model looks pretty sharp Grey on Green. I do know that the F-86 flown by the luftwaffe was actually a C...

Admiral Toys' New Photos!

I just saw on Admiral Toys website the new photos of the German F-86 and ME 262. I wish they had more photos of the 262  I think they have much improved their pilots. I hope it looks as good after being cut up and jointed. The new paint for the silver F-86 looks awesome. I wish they had put it ...

I think that 21st would do a better job, but I do not think there is a chance that you would see one from them in the next two years. They are to involved with their Avenger, F-86, Mig, retools of the P-51 etc. to have room in their production lines for such a large aircraft. I feel the reason many ...

On the 3rd of July 1943 Japan decided that all aircraft in their Navy would be painted in Green over grey. The Model 21 stop production before this mandate and therefore were primarily the Gloss Olive-Green/Grey over grey. However, many of the land based Model 21s were field painted the Green over t...

I agree that the release is only 5000 units. I was answering the other half of the question "what about their normal releases?"

I am sure that if they say only 5000 are released in limited numbers that is the total number released.

Does anyone actually know the number of a standard release?

Seeing how walmart has about 5,000 stores worldwide, I do not think that 21st century would produce a paint design with the anticipation of only distributing 1 model per store. Yes, I know that they do not sell their products in every Walmart, however if you think about it, if they sold to 1/5 of th...

Thanks for the welcome, :D I am a very large proponent of added detail and realism. I would gladly pay more for a plane with added movable parts such as gun doors, engine cowling access panels that are movable etc. However, I just have issues with added detail that had nothing to do with the origina...
