I built one back in the day and was shocked by the poor fit. Take your time and do a lot of dry fitting before you start . You may want to think about going to 1/35 if your going to build kits.Tamiya makes a M20 that is a gem.

It's 1/35 and very old. It was first issued in 1957! More of a collectors item now.

1/18 carrier decks

Saw these on the Brookhurst Model site. 1/18 deck sections, modern, WWII U.S. and Japanese WWII. $50. They also have them in 1/32 and 1/48. The web site is Nautilus Models. Sorry if this is old news.

I think these are Italeri model kits. Testors re-boxed a lot of Italeri stuff in the past. I saw them at Hobby People. I don't think they are pre-built and painted.

The M-3 kit is actually the old Peerless-Max kit from the 70's. It has been re-boxed by Italeri and Revell.

Hetzer MG?

Just opened up my Wal-mart clearance 21st century Hetzer and it doesn't have the remote MG and shield. They show it on the box but no sign of it inside. Also the muffler is different from the box photo. It's 213 with a 3 tone camo, slightly weathered.

Boy, do I feel like a dope! I thought the tankers were rare because 21st didn't include them with the re-issue M-48. They did send me a confirmation e-mail so somebody is still around. By the way the photos on small joe's look the same as 21st's.

The 21st company store has the Viet Nam Tankers for $2 . No other 1/18 but some 1/6 and parts for their R/C stuff. Shipping for two figures was $9  Thanks to Dubar 1 for the tip .

I just about cleaned out the College Grove Target. MLRS, Zero,F4U, 38T, 8" and a bunch of figure sets. Left a few 38t's, planes and figure sets. They had 2 of the new Bravo Team Blackhawk on sale but none of the others. Target in Chula Vista had a weathered M1a and a 4star playset with a Brit Sherma...

The Wal-Mart in Grosmont center (San Diego) had 4 Spits and several Pz4, Shermans, Hetzers and 155's for $9 today. The Spits looked lousy so I left them. Might have been a mistake if this is the end of 21st at Wal-Mart.
