I was in Galaxy Hobby in Lynnwood WA today and saw that they had a stack of about 6 or 7 of them getting ready to go out on the shelves. They weren't price marked yet, and I didn't think to ask how much as I couldn't afford to buy anything this week anyway, but it's a good sign that brick and mortar...

I have found Valleijo US Field Drab works well as moist earth / mud. I liked the color so much and was going through so much of it, I took it to Lowes and had them paint match the color with a good water based indoor paint. Turned out great and only cost me like 6 bucks for a small can (enough to fi...

I have a personal favorite "wonderwash". It is Pelican brand Sepia transparent ink. It can be watered down further, but when applied, it tones down the brightness nicely and then also fills in cracks and gathers around parts that stick up so that the base of tools, boxes, rivets etc... are nicely ou...

$14.99 for an Indiana Jones action figure?
I thought Small Joe's usually had decent prices until this. fifteen bucks for a figure that's still on the shelf in stores? I know the Soviet soldier is popular, but how bout wait until it's not available on shelves before gouging people for it.

The effects of yellow journalism rear their ugly head. As a matter of fact, he said A golden age not THE golden age. I have to agree. Global wars that drag on for years are (at least for the time being) a thing of the past. The average lifespan is increasing, medical advancements are staggering, tec...

This happens all the time in my AO, Wallmart, Target, TRS. Every time I bring it up to the manager's attention and show them that it's the wrong item. 90 percent of the time, it's back on the shelf the next time I come in there. Happens alot with ppl replacing the corgi Matchbox sized tanks with For...

I maybe misspoke earlier, the fix is easy, It's if you try to force the gun to elevate without modification where you might break the gun. I just recoiled the gun out of the housing, slipped out the gun suppport rail and smoothed out the gear a little to loosten up the catch a little. (It dosen't ca...

Ok, Answered my own question. The gear is real, just sticky. I had to disassemble the gun to get it to work. its real sticky. One piece of advice, scrape the teeth of the gear with a hobby knife or something to round out the teeth a little of it is really hard (to the point of possibly breaking the ...

Gun Elevation on Marder III Sdkfz 139
I got two of these today at my local WM (I'm surprised because out of all the WM's in my AO, its the closest and the most likely to NOT have anything new) I also got 2 Hetzers. Has anyone been able to get the gun to elevate on the Marders? Both of mine seem stuck in about a 27 degrees downward angle...

Thanks for all the input guys, I've decided that I'm going to take V2 Man's Advice and separate them into lots that make sense. That way I don't end up selling / trading only the most rare items and getting stuck with the rest. (I don't know how many offers I've already gotten for just the Kubelwage...

Found 1/144th camo Spitfire with British markings today!
As the title says... Looks like a desert camo. I just got back from a 6 hour road trip and I'm to tired to take pics right now. I'll post tomorrow. BTW, they were at the WM in Sumner / Bonney Lake WA. There were also two new Avengers and two new Zeros but I didn't get them this time. I got six of th...

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies so far, I have already gotten several pm's and I will answer them all here soon. Just not tonight, I just got home and I'm beat. I really have put alot of thought into this, since last summer, I guess I just need to get some opinions before I jump in head first. ...
